- In this video, Roy shows you how to forge a plant hanger. A forged plant hanger may go by several other names... plant hook, plant support, or even plant hanger. No matter what you call it, a lovely plant hanger looks good for ornamenting a home!

Lovely sweeping scrolls, thank you 😊
Ohhh scroll work very fancy!!!
One & a half, 1000mm or 100cm to a meter. Great video!
Nice comments about the weld heat .
Roy again you have helped
Thanks you Sir
A pro knows how to fix a problem on the fly. Taking a vision from your mind to your hands and making it happen is the mark of an artist craftsman. Thank you for the video!
One difference between a good Craftsman and one not so good is the good one knows how to hide his mistakes
Looks great, can't wait for part II. We are all imperfect, thanks for your transparency. God bless y'all!!
You have a great eye for forming the curves. A practiced hand doesn't hurt either. This is much more pleasing to the eye over my flat stock and scroll bender projects. Where you don't want to cause flats in round stock, would a copper or brass hammer work better for the fine tuning so to speak? Beautiful project to work on. Cheers.
Excellent video roy! The timing couldn’t have been better for me!
i absolutely love watching your videos they are super informative. i took a blacksmithing weekend course here in ontario and watching you has inspired me to set myself up a forge and teach my son what i learned. by next spring i hope to be all set up to go into business for myself making artistic metal. thamk you so much for everything you do keep up the amazing work!!
Good stuff Roy! Can’t wait to see the final piece! Thanks and God Bless you guys!

Ahhh Professor Roy...school is in session. Now let's learn a little.
Nice class sirSir.
Could you use a wooden mallet to try n work out the flats n nit mar the surface trying to work a flat out?
🙏 blessins now
Crawford out 🧙♂️
A lot of people have focussed on your leather apron, perhaps drawn to the bulge of the cod piece.
Lol it is a mighty nice apron 😉
Roy is there a scroll that your u can pull don after it is scrolled in a way to accept a round bottom candle holder? Would love to see how to do that.. Thanks for your hard work and dedication... Martin
One and a half metre
Hi how did you made that fire? Do you want to make a video to show me?
1500 mm is 1.5 meters. :-)
did you cut off the welded end and reweld too, or did we miss a scroll heat?
Where did you get your apron good design⚒
How much do these tend to go for?
1000mm per meter so 1.5m Roy
"consinering" = "considering' , "drawl" = "draw" (drawl is something really different :) )
What's the story about those leather leggings you got there
Hahaha hmmm Yes I was thinking the same thing Grandadz 🤔
1500mm....1.5 meters lol.
First!
Lol yes 1500mm is about 2m. Why do people feel compelled to say both imperial and metric. Just stick to what you know and let others do the math if they need to. It’s not hard at all.
For a one off it better to start long and adjust as you go, after you are done you can measure the finished product and document it for future pieces. Good job Be well and be safe...............
