- For the ones asking why I said we might not keep both… BUT the couple couldn’t pick them up soon because of personal reasons, and now they have been together for a week and are literally best friends and so attached to each other so we feel so bad separating them 🥺🥺🥺 but I still want to honor that couple, so we are thinking of solutions, maybe we can find another black cat to adopt and give it to them!!! so they can be happy and our kitties can continued live together and be best friends 🥹🙏🏼 comment bellow what you think we should do
That cat belongs to you! If it was meant for the other couple they would have been there first. It would be heartbreaking to take away the bond of the two kittens. That couple will be able to find another black cat that’s meant for them.

If they're bonded then keep both. Black cats are the least adopted cats. The lady should adopt another black kitten, that way two black kittens will have homes ❤ it's really thoughtful of you guys to offer the kitty to her but personally I wouldn't separate them. I have two sibling/bonded cats and they're together 24/7 literally.

You should find another black cat for them. If you can’t find any nearby, I found my cat on Craigslist for about $40. I was looking for a white or Siamese cat and I didn’t find any at any shelters and then I found a picture on Craigslist with about 5 cats and one of them was a Siamese/white and gray kitten in the corner, I texted the person who posted it so fast and went and got him a week later. There are tons of people getting rid of kittens on Craigslist that need homes just as much as the kittens in the shelter
So sweet of you guys to think of the other party that is interested in the black cat. Carol go to an allergist start on shots. Can’t have you getting sick because of allergies to a cat.

There's probably so many black cats in the shelter there are so many kittens waiting to be adopted in shelters over hundreds of cats and a lot of black cat

Yes! That’s the best plan. Separating them now is NOT in their best interest. Even replacing him with another won’t work, it’s not the same. They’ve been together since before the adoption, they would suffer severe separation anxiety. They out boy got sick and was in the vet for a week, our girl was so out of touch. Wouldn’t eat, won’t sleep, looking for him everywhere. Luckily our vet was amazing and let us take her to see him after hours. ❤ if that couple has the faith that y’all do, they will see that and absolutely understand.
