Thanks a ton, Philip! 🙌 It’s awesome to see you as one of the first to dive into it! We put a lot of effort into making it super easy to use, so it’s great to hear it’s hitting the mark. Can’t wait to see what you create next!
I doubt Apple would incorporate all this in FCP, it would just be too much, and I think Apple and MotionVFX work pretty closely together so whilst Apple might find inspiration in what MotionVFX do, I doubt they'd pull the rug out from underneath them.
Thanks for the video. A subscription payment model fora project based workflow doesn't work for me, especially for plugins, most of which I would not use. It does however look like a good product.
It's hard to find anything nowadays which isn't subscription based, and I fully understand people still like owning what they buy, but to be honest if we bought all these plugins most of us would be bankrupt. Excellent product, yes!
@@PhillipSkraba In an industry where a lot of things are project based, I tend to go for tools that align to my requirements and don't want to pay for a year, when I only use a few months worth of the tools. And some of these subscriptions are as if you work 24/7! But good video. Maybe make a video about subscriptions and get people's views?
@@DensDigitalDen Nah, I don't think that sounds like a video I would like to do. I made this video just to bring attention to this new project from MotionVFX, I've enjoyed Beta testing it and thought it was something interesting for people looking to access most of the plugins for a fraction of the price.
For one person it’s affordable, for another it’s absurdly insane, what can I say. If you’re making the kind of money from film work where it makes sense, it makes sense.
Our basic plan starts at $15/month and gives you access to mCaptions and over 3,000 motion design elements, essentially offering you access to almost entire MVFX library
Yes, as long as you're paying you'll have access, but if at some point you stop paying and you want to continue working on a timeline where there are design studio elements or take over an old project, then you won't be able to, you'll have to take out a one-month or one-year licence again. What's more, unlike buying template elements separately, here with design studio you can't modify them under motion, so it's impossible to make even a small modification to meet a specific need. It's a real shame because apart from these two major constraints I would have been happy to take out the subscription.
Well, I think that's only normal. If I stop paying my phone bill, I don't expect to have access to calls or internet, and if I called my friend 2 months ago, I can't expect to keep on calling him if I haven't paid. I get what you're saying, but it basically works like that with all subscriptions, no matter the product. It's the price we pay for having access to a vast amount of plugins as apposed to spending a lot of money and using just one.
Is this a paid ad? Certainly sounds like. Their subscription model is bigger deal than you make. Just because they have all those elements, doesn't mean they're good, I found the wedding ones not that interesting. You only mention quantity while avoiding quality.
This was actually not paid, nor was it an ad. I'm just a fan of MotionVFX, I have worked with them for years and I got to test the Beta so I decided to drop a video on it. You're saying the quality isn't good? I would have to disagree, I think MotionVFX are by far the best in quality from all the plugins I've ever tried.
@@PhillipSkraba You can say what you like, but the fact is, users are sick of subsriptions. Not to mention they totally excludes casual / occasional users and just drive people towards piracy.

I absolutely love it guys, it makes my workflow much faster, much easier and being able to create my own library is a dream come true! Thanks!
cant wait for this update for DVR or APP
Fun! We can't wait to try it.
It’s very convenient and super fast!
this video was uploaded clutch! Thanks Philip
Thanks! It's a really great addition to MotionVFX, love it!
Thanks Philip! This is awesome, been asking mvfx for this for a long time lol, can't wait to get my hands on it
I was really happy to see this drop too!
Love this ideas
Me too, sped up my workflow do much!
Great review!! Looks like a real game changer for me, brings so much value and saves tons of time. I need to try it immediately
Thanks! It’s awesome, and yes, totally speeds up your workflow.
CapCut got the whole video editing world to step their game up lol. About time! Now I’m just waiting for some of this to be baked into Final Cut Pro.

Awesome thing, awesome review 🎉

subscribed! You pay $15 now, you get it back at the end of the month, it’s a no brainer for me
It's a good way to go about it! Who knows, you might very well stay.
how do i drag a clip on the timeline to create captions rather than taking the whole project file and transcribe it
I right click on the clip, and I turn the clip into a New Compound Clip, and drag that over from the inspector box. Hope that helps.
Signing up immediately 🤯🤯🤯
It’s fantastic to have access to all of this, and the favourites folder made my year!
What about the absurdly insane subscription price?

@@motionvfx Saying it's $15/month is misleading when you have to pay for the full year at once. It's actually $29 per month if doing monthly.
Waiting for Davinci version 😄
I have no info, but I bet they’re working on it!

and for DAVINCI?
I can’t use DaVinci, the nodes fry my brain.
