The Macan design was so well executed that you can see how Porsche is bringing this bigger brother closer to the design cues of the small brother. Especially more so pronounced in the side profile….

Thanks Porsche for the V8. Just ordered mine - $146k loaded to the brim. The main reason I chose this over AMG GLE63s is the lack of Burmeister 3D on Benz. When I am spending $140k, I can afford to pay $7k for the best sound. Porsche option costs that much and has 25 speakers I think!! Mercedes decided not to offer it for 2024 but had it in 2019-2022. Stupid
GTS LOADED will probably cost 15- to 30k more than the S. I specked out the turbo GTS hybrid and loaded the way I want it was about almost 190 K, I’m comfortable with the price of the Cayenne S.

Beautiful to see v8 in a mind range mode! Always felt that there is something off with having 2.9v6 in the S model - it supposed to be more than a basic package, but you got an engine from Audi S4 or Macan GTS, defintely someone had cut corners tzherezx. Happy to see rightsizing, comparing to Urus it’s a very frugal car.
Would you happen to know if Porsche are doing any more interior colour options? (other than the solid black or 50/50 black and another colour, full red interior for example)
@@fliprabbit I just feel connected to the road more, like I have better control of the car. Feels more natural. The air suspension in the most comfortable setting is great on the freeway/motorway. Super smooth, but around the city, the car kind of floats like a boat too much. So I set it to the stiffest setting when in the city and that’s all right. On the freeway, I set it to the most comfortable setting.
I was looking at getting a 2024 but not sure if a base or S. I am now leaning towards a base with air and rws rather than an S without those options. Thanks for the report.

Have driven both the 958.2 and pre-facelift model E3..that torquey feeling of 958.2 base diesel is so addictive and irreplaceable when compared to the V6 pre-facelift. Problem is 958.2 is obsolete now.
V8 with the sport exhaust sounds amazing! I test drove the cayenne S with the sport exhaust and even in normal mode it sounds awesome. Aggressive but not to much, light grumble, then in sport plus just beast but not obnoxious. I’ll get mine in August.
It is very simple actually: You can not have one car to fulfil all your needs. Having that in mind my choice is the base V6 - it is a brilliant daily. The rest should be covered by second and third car with the right character for the specific need

The rear floor-mat attachment is a bit of a disappointment. All due to a few reckless owners? Reasoning just doesn't add up. Personally my biggest complaint would probably be the controls for the sunroof/reading lights. That small aspect looks to have been stripped down significantly by using just black plastic rather than the contrasting chrome/black controls of the pre-facelift. Thanks for the very thorough reviews! Can't wait till my Base Coupe arrives in July :)

Amazing review!!! Great video and details of the car on exterior and interior, and new updated improvments. Personally I prefer the standard version of the Cayenne and this new colour in Montego Blue is really amazing also with the Ivory interior and 22 inch wheels configuration. The S version is enough to have a good compromise on the road and daily use. Thank you again for your beautiful reaview!
Once again a great review ! Many reviews arrive at the same time but yours is the first I watch due to it’s detail. I must say however that the previous models looked better inside and out. The front looks too square and somewhat American. More like the Q8 and bulky. The lack of proper gearstick should have been exclusive to any future all electric version. It may look better in person though. A note to all potential coupe buyers never forget to option the rear spoiler in black if you choose a light colour. It then won’t break up the flyline when viewed from the side. PS: Austria looks beautiful ! What’s up with the very slim village roads though ?
Great review Thomas. Its probably at manual car washes. They take out the car mats to be cleaned. They are in such a rush I wouldn't be surprised if they were causing the damage.
not sure about the look of the dashboard.....it is like the speedometer area is missing "a roof" . it looks kind or "broken" . Also the center tunnel does not look sporty or upmarket . Mmmmmmm....

Suv or coupe: pick the looks. Lightweight sports pack brings u the cool fabric seats or ask if u can get them alone maybe. If not possible or too expensive then racetex seats

My Fourth Porsche Cayenne…….The interior design team should be immediately sacked and replaced. My 165.000 us$ car has a totally Porsche unworthy, CHEAP, Plastic interior. It’s just absolutely HORRIBLE and a total disaster compared with what we were used to get from Porsche. I feel like I’m sitting in a cheap Toyota or Skoda. Help, this is just totally unacceptable. It’s the biggest Porsche Rip-off ever. I have 10 porsches…..The new Cayenne is a Shambles, whatever the seller glorifies, it’s a waste of money…..Just GUTTED and it’s UNACCEPTABLE !
You probably have never owned a Cayenne, you should know better. The New Cayenne is a shambles when it comes to interior design. It’s a very “UN” Porsche design. All cheap plastic - take a look at the door handles ! Did they loose their mind at Porsche ????

hey! Well I see no significant reason not to go for a used one except depreciation if it is the same price. Power output however wont differ that much since the S now is essentially a so far GTS. Spec your racetex seats or fabric seats with lightweight sportspack and you have a GTS even with the S. So same price defo the new S instead of same price used GTS. For best price performance just pick a used V6 :-)
@@autogefuehl thanks for the reply. i was trying to build a new one the wagon cost 275k AUD and the coupe version would cost 285K AUD, however the 2021 GTS is about 210-220k driveway... hmmmm the Coupe with lightweight package & 2+1 seater at rear definitely looks much cooker but it is so rare in Aus, the Wagon with interior package and red stitching and head crest looks stunning as well. Damn, I really need one soon🤣🤣

I’m trying to decide between a CPO 2023 Cayenne fully loaded or a CPO 2024 Cayenne not so loaded. The 2024 comes with very few options.
I really like Porsche and among these I would choose the Cayenne Turbo S (the SUV) because it is more spacious and more comfortable

I find it strange that there’s no “hood” over the gauges, it looks like something is missing from the dashboard without it.

Suv or coupe: pick the looks. Lightweight sports pack brings u the cool fabric seats or ask if u can get them alone maybe. If not possible or too expensive then racetex seats
If i am getting adaptive air do you recommend PTV+ and PDDC? Are all necessary

My Fourth Porsche Cayenne…….The interior design team should be immediately sacked and replaced. My 165.000 us$ car has a totally Porsche unworthy, CHEAP, Plastic interior. It’s just absolutely HORRIBLE and a total disaster compared with what we were used to get from Porsche. I feel like I’m sitting in a cheap Toyota or Skoda. Help, this is just totally unacceptable. It’s the biggest Porsche Rip-off ever. I have 10 porsches…..The new Cayenne is a Shambles, whatever the seller glorifies, it’s a waste of money…..Just GUTTED and it’s UNACCEPTABLE !
You probably have never owned a Cayenne, you should know better. The New Cayenne is a shambles when it comes to interior design. It’s a very “UN” Porsche design. All cheap plastic - take a look at the door handles ! Did they loose their mind at Porsche ????

With a similar budget, would you recommend buying the new Cayenne S or the current Cayenne GTS???
hey! Well I see no significant reason not to go for a used one except depreciation if it is the same price. Power output however wont differ that much since the S now is essentially a so far GTS. Spec your racetex seats or fabric seats with lightweight sportspack and you have a GTS even with the S. So same price defo the new S instead of same price used GTS. For best price performance just pick a used V6 :-)
@@autogefuehl thanks for the reply. i was trying to build a new one the wagon cost 275k AUD and the coupe version would cost 285K AUD, however the 2021 GTS is about 210-220k driveway... hmmmm
the Coupe with lightweight package & 2+1 seater at rear definitely looks much cooker but it is so rare in Aus, the Wagon with interior package and red stitching and head crest looks stunning as well.

Base model is of course sufficient! Ceramic brakes absolutely not if you dont go on a racetrack
