How luxury brands measure sustainability | The BoF Sustainability Index

It is more and more urgent that we need to take action to protect our earth. As one of the most polluting industries, the fashion industry is still way behind in being sustainable. Brands often talk the talk, but seldom walk the walk. Is it really eco-friendly or greenwashing? Business of Fashion cooperated with the sustainable council and launched the first "The BoF Sustainability Index" to track fashion's progress regarding environmental and social issues. With the help of the index, it can be a guideline to measure sustainable performance from fashion brands.
