It's a piece of overpriced junk. Beware, within 18 months of purchase, mine has had its fold out screen film replaced twice (thankfully within the guarantee period). But immediately thereafter, coinciding with it falling outside the guarantee, it's become an unusable slab - the front LCD screen has failed. Because of that there is no accessibility to WiFi (apparently the WiFi is integrated with the front screen). SIM slot no. 2 is unusable. To repair it requires the large foldout screen to be replaced because the SIM slot is integrated with the foldout screen! A marvel of design. And, the starter switch does not work. All this within 18 months of purchase and very careful use. Cost of getting it to start working again: Rs. 70-75,000 (as per the local Samsung service centre). Guarantee on repair? 3 months. Are these guys kidding?? Avoid the GalaxyFold if you value your money. And your peace of mind.

Though honestly the biggest thing with this device I can say is you kind of can't blame Samsung for being sort of iterative this year with it. They spent billions on research and development for this tech. So they might as well take time and try and get as much money as they can before trying to innovate more and more.
Yes I love their innovative thinking, but I still don’t recommend buying it. Like it’s still fragile with the folding screen. Have to be lucky and fortunate to get a device that lasts 200k folds and not dies after 3-6 months. And then the additional needed insurance and ofc the price tag.
The only thing is, if another company were to reveal a lighter, thinner foldable phone in the US sector then Samsung is basically out of the foldable race because their phone would look antique.

And who folds and unfolds their device so much in 1 day do you not work. I love my ZF4, think there's a sweet spot with this 4th gen. Only thing that could top it for me is having a built in S-Pen which will come either next year or within 3 years. I have a case which allows me to keep the S-Pen within the hinge protector and when unfolded it acts like a lil kick stand. Check them out iBlason clear case. I also turned on protect battery so it only charges to 85%. Better battery longevity. I normally keep my devices for 2/3 years so I'm in no rush to change it.

Switched over from the S22 Ultra and purchased the Fold 4 (my first fold phone) and I've had no regrets since. My fold 4's battery is way better than the S22 ultra - kudos to the new chipset... It actually makes a difference! Sure, do I miss the display on the S22 ultra, but the display when my fold is unfolded beats it. Also, although when folded, its small, it's actually a really good size to hold with one hand. The cameras are pretty solid, but if you're not a camera guru, the fold 4's cameras are more than enough. I honestly don't think I can go back to a candy bar shaped phone anymore. The hype is very real.
It is real. I’ve thought about getting one, but for me durability and longevity is very important and folds aren’t there yet for being used 3-5years. Like candybar phones like s22 ultra or in my case IPhone 13 Pro Max

Almost perfect phone, but after 9 months, serious issues with the inner screen protector film. It´s peeling off. Even when Samsung is replacing it for free (just one time), it´s not expectable for a high end value phone. Techology is not fully solved and mature. Early adopters will have to deal with cover film issues and consecuences such as main screen scratches and so on. Moving back to S line as the fold 5 will not overcome these issues. maybe the fold 6.
I have a very bad experience with Sumsung Fold 4 and very bad experience with Sumsung's customer after sale services , it LCD not functioning just after few months ( not able to connect to wifi , not able to connect hot spot, the front external screen not responding, not able to detect the Sims card and a lot of Sumsung phone users facing the same issues . The customer service team lost my phone data and yet made a policy to erase all our phone data before send in for any services , I worry same problem with come back again and again
How many times this phone will be folded ( close /open ) before it breaks at the center ??? It's what we call wear and tear perhaps it will come to this point
They need to get rid of the crease it's very noticeable and incorporate a slot for the S pen.Wait and it will happen then invest into this wonderful foldable world.
