I've watched many Fold 4 vids but this is the first one that mentioned the extra brightness option. I never knew it was there as the option doesn't show up when you have it set to adaptive. Life changed.

You can also go into motion and gestures (from advanced features) to make it so u can stop the phone from ringing by placing ur hand (or palm) over it.

Not really a tip, but usage advice. I bought the Z-fold 4 for the bigger screen. I barely use the front display. At first I had mirroring on, and would use that whenever I was in the mood to use a "traditional" smartphone sized screen. Which was never. Then after I realized it was going unused, I stopped mirroring, reduced all the clutter, and have only 3 things on it for a minimalistic "at-a-glance" view. A time/weather widget. The galaxy notes widget (used for recording voice audio reminders, surprisingly useful), and seperate chat buttons to open my frequent text contacts (I only have 3). Basically I just use it to check notifications, and to voice record shopping lists, but without having to open the phone to do just that.
Just got my Z fold 4 today..., it's an Awesome device!!
The battery setting is an eye opener for me. Let me use it and see what improvement I get. Thanks.

Thanks for the good tips! Imho a great use of the outside double tap button is to turn the flashlight on! This is a big switch I've always used the Galaxy Note's, and turning in my Ultra 20 for a credit if I keep the Z Fold 4.

for one handed-mode you could have added Finger print Sensor Gestures which lets u bring down notification panel with one swipe

On previous Samsung phones, I was able to choose my notification, ringer and alarm sounds from an app like Zedge. Seems the newer Samsung phones only let you select sounds from what is built in. I'm looking for a way to put in outside Samsung sounds.
i am using my custom sounds and ringtones from zedge..
How do you fix the cover screen to the main screen? Because when I opened my email on the cover screen and tried to read it in the main screen, I opened up the fold but it didn't do the transfer from cover to main. Thanks
If the light performance mode reduces processor speed, why is there another CPU speed limiting option under Power Saving that reduces CPU speed by 70%? What's the difference between the two and are the results cumulative?
Is there a sitting to make the very recent notification stays on the top? This is ridiculous, most of the time when notification alert it's very hard to see right away which one is recent. New notification often ended up somewhere in the middle or bottom. Sometimes I can't even tell. I have use an app called Recent Notification so can easily see the recent to past notification easily.
While watching UA-cam and I drag down to try make a pup up box to watch it makes the pop up box but just goes to a black screen with sound but no vid picture

I use double tap side key for flashlight and then tap again to turn it off. Also lite battery performance and 60mghz refresh rate has almost doubled my battery. I think if you launch games from the Samsung games app, the settings get upscale back to best performance.

my tip is go into device care and click on your storage space and change the virtual ram from 2 to 8 . now you have 16 gigs total ram 😁 speed is what im here for speed and power.

It feels a little like having a plastic screen protector but it’s definitely not as annoying. I’m not a huge screen protector person but this one doesn’t feel too bad

Weird. I was hoping that it's on so I can turn it off. The screen Is always extra bright than what I set it.
You have to first turn off the adaptive brightness option off which is right above the extra brightness option. And it’s probably extra bright than what you set because adaptive brightness keeps changing it. So turn that off
I agree screen is too bright in low light settings but you should have the extra dim option which is a night time browsing GAME CHANGER. Go to Accessibility then Visibility Enhancements and turn on extra dim. It's adjustable and can get REALLY dim. Great addition by Samsung.
My phone inner display is not working ...what to do ?
Put it in the microwave for 69 seconds..it will recharge the kyber chrystals in the inner screens.trust me...hahaa

Got my fold 4 yesterday and OMG...I am kinda hooked to it. I use iPhone 13PM as my main phone. But looks like fold is gonna replace it.

I could not find Extra Brightness until I turned off the Adaptive brightness...
best fastest phone I ever had my note 20 ultra got hot high end games this phone don't break a sweat. biggest thing is a case that protects the hinge too. the only phone more powerful is the asus rogue 6 pro it has the adrenaline 730 and 18gigs of ram with 8 available for virtual ram thats 26 gigs. the fold 4 is 12 gigs of ram with 8 available on virtual ram equalling 16 gigs. my trick is go in you storage and use 8 gigs for virtual ram cheers. it's found in the icon for device care where you can do clean up ect.
