2. Second, all that means is that our creator had pre-ordained everything. Indeed souls were created before our father Adam's descent.
3. Had Jesus (peace & blessings be upon him) actually claimed divinity (God forbid), he would hv said so plainly & not wrapped a statement in a riddle.
4. Had Jewish Monotheism not been appropriated by the cult of perfect sacrifice, trinity would not exist. What you follow is trinity, not Monotheism, despite whatever you say.

Assalamualaikum, peace be upon you all. Islam doesn't support terrorism. True muslim doesn't terrorise people. Islam or true muslims doesn't hate western people.
Mohammed demands in Surah 9:29 that Christians and Jews are fought until they are dead unless they submit to Islam and agree to be oppressed second class citizens in their own country as well as paying protection money so that their oppressors will not harm them. I am sure true muslims do not hate western people, but as they follow the commandments of Mohammed, we know they will fight Christians and Jews.
"True Islam is not terrorism" But the Quran says that you should kill whoever is not from that religion. How can someone decide "True Islam does this or true islam doesn't do this"? When you are not following exactly what the book says. If you question the trueness of the exact words of your supposed God, your prophet... Then nothing of their words makes sense, innit? God is perfect, how could his book not be perfect? By denying and saying that the Quran is wrong in a lot of verses, all the religion falls down. So why would you believe in some religion that is not consistent with the perfection of God?
Also, the Quran says that men could marry and have s3* with little girls, like 3,5,6...8...10 years old.
But: "Oh! That's not true islam"
So...? Where is the logic and the grace of God in that book? Also, many good verses of the Quran were copied by the bible, and islam says that Jesus WASN'T CRUCIFIED when it's verified and witnessed by hundreds, so that's when islam becomes a big L

Dan, you don’t sound like much of a Christian to me. If you’re Christian you should understand this there is one way and there is one name and there is Jesus. Islam is it religion of hatred and destruction and death. Look at the behavior of their adherence. If you’re truly a Christian you need to read John 14 six and you need to get into a church where you’re under the gospel in biblical teaching there’s only one name under heaven we’re by men must be saved and that name is Jesus.

Many of my relations are very kind. They are also Mormons. Their kindness wouldn't make me believe their religion. Kind people belong to many religions or aren't even necessarily religious. I think kind people are kind in spite of their religion. Mean people are mean in spite of their religion.

I’ve gotten passed the stage of questioning christianity. I was raised and baptized as a catholic but found a lot of things wrong with the practices. I’m currently wondering about islam but not sure how to learn more about it or who to even reach out to. What’s my next step?
You might start with reading the Quran first. I would suggest 'The Meaning Of The Qur'an' by Yusuf Ali or "The Message of The Qur'an" by Muhammad Assad. You might also reach out to a mosque near you. But I suggest reading first. May you be successful in your spiritual journey and find what you are looking for.
Please obtain a copy of Quran English translation. Next check on by visiting a mosque. Then visit you tube for revert Hamza yourself, Yousef Estace.

Embracing Islam myself now, i really think it's manner of worship to Jehovah is really good. There is so much honor in how they worship Him, as well as going to a church and listening to a sermon. Though that is good too. And it was indicated in the Torah and revelation 11 and even perhaps by Jesus himself that another prophet would come after His death. And it's not like God would just abandon the whole other side of the liniage of Abraham through Ishmael. So it makes since about Muhammad and the Quran.
However, i still believe Jesus is to seen as the king and messiah. And Quran even testifies to Jesus being the Messiah. So, just like with Christendom, i dont think the religion is perfect, but i definitely think it's another huge piece of the puzzle to learn the truth

Because she is delusional and thinks religion is a mix-match, where you pick and choose what you want. She thinks whatever sounds good to you and your morals is what your religion should be, when that’s not how it works. You use reasoning and critical examination to figure out if what the religion teaches is THE truth, and then form your values from that.

every good feeling(happiness, love, beauty etc)is a tiny reflection of gods treasure.every fear we have (darkness, nightmare,sadness etc)is a tiny reflection of gods kind of anger. a muslim feel both hope and fear towards god.everyone and each muslim will face their wrongdoings and all decisions.islam means for me being a nice person, helping others and HOPE.
The thing you should understand about Islam is that it is a completely independent system on its own. It came with laws from God to protect the individuals from the society, the society from the individuals, and the individual from himself. So naturally, you will find laws on every single aspect of life (called the sharia), which explains why you also find the rules regarding warfare that people misuse to scare people away from the whole religion. What makes Islam give hope to people is that it both: holds them responsible and removes their burden. On one hand, God tells us that we are responsible for our actions in this world, every tiny thing we do we will be asked about and will receive both reward and punishment accordingly (of course repenting can cause punishments to be removed) because God is fair and all-knowing and most-merciful. On the other hand, in Islam, there is a clear understanding of tawakkul/trust in God's power and will, meaning that even if I do my best I know I have limits as a human, and without God's will there is nothing I can achieve no matter how much effort I give - this is why Muslims often say "if God wills" when they talk about future events- like, for example, all the conferences we had planned and we prepared for before coronavirus hit us. Do you think all our effort was for nothing when those conferences were canceled? In Islam, we believe that as long as we were sincere in our efforts and that we gave this effort for the sake of God (because anything can be for the sake of God, studying or working or praying or eating.. it is all about having the intention to serve your higher purpose with each action you perform), God will reward us for those efforts in the hereafter.
In fact, the word Islam linguistically is a verb that means 5 things:
-Surrender (to almighty God)
-Submission (to God's will)
-Obedience (to God's commandments)
-Sincerity (in worshipping only God)
-Peace (in mind, heart, and soul)
So a Muslim is someone who applies those 5 things, and the Qur'an and sunnah and hadith tell us how to apply it.

Zan seems to be a very lovely person but unfortunately she is spreading a concept of Islam that is antithetical to Muhammad's quran and his sunnah. First Zan insults the Christians in her audience by saying that "concepts in Christianity didn't make sense to her." A few minutes later in her talk she seems to say that "Christianity wasn't a good faith." Zan like many converts to Islam today have a romanticized understanding of Islam that ignores much of the quran and Muhammad's deeds. Liberal muslims like Zan believe Islam is about personal and private devotion to god. Undoubtedly she would reject the idea that Islam was and is a totalitarian theocratic political ideology and not simply a religion of personal piety. I do think that Zan is simply misinformed about Islam.
Zan has pioneered her "quiet spaces" as places where people of all faiths or no faith can meet and meditate. This is exactly what Muhammad fought against. Muhammad believed the great sin of mankind was religious pluralism and polytheism. It disgusted Muhammad that the Kaaba was a place where people believing in different gods and manny gods could worship side by side. Even though the Meccans, according to Islamic history, had 360 gods in the Kaaba there was no religious bigotry or intolerance. Muhammad's mission was to put an end to that arrangement and state of affairs. This is what Muhammad said in his quran...Surah 9:29..
“Kill those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and his messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the scripture until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.”
Then in the hadith, Muhammad is quoted as saying...
Sahih Bukhari 8:387 - Allah’s apostle said, “I have been ordered to fight the people till they say “none has the right ot be worshipped but Allah”. And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face out qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah”. Narrated by Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, “O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?” he replied, “Whoever says, ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah’, faces our qibla during prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other muslims have.”
The mission of Muhammad was to erase all religions in the world and to establish his religion of Islam as the only religion for all of mankind. And he did this by the use of force. Zan's ecumenism is antithetical to the religion that she follows and she is unaware of that. Yes, I like her moderate Islam but it simply is not faithful to the quran of Muhammad. Muhammad destroyed the "quiet space" of the Kaaba in the 7th century, a place where people of all religions could worship side by side in peace. No fighting was allowed there. Muhammad changed all that. He allowed fighting in Mecca and then destroyed all the religious icons in the Kaaba when he conquered Mecca. Muhammad then prohibited everyone except muslims to enter the Kaaba thereafter.
People like Zan are spreading a whitewashed version of Islam. Some like Zan do so out of ignorance of the religion of Islam, others with subterfuge.

Chapter 9 is about the treaty the prophet had with Bani Quraitha. Which they broke the treaty twice (I think). This was a peace treaty. But unfortunately those that seek justification for hate they will search and find hate websites.

But your idea can easily be shown to be false. First the reason given for fighting is clearly stated. The fighting and killing was because of unbelief and because of polytheism.

Second - Your idea that Muhammad only wanted to kill the Meccas who had persecuted him prior to the Hegira can also be shown to be false by looking at what Muhammad did when he was at the height of his military power. Then Muhammad and the muslims could no longer be attacked by the Meccans. When Muhammad conquered Mecca, he asked the Quraysh what their punishment should be. They asked for mercy and Muhammad granted them mercy. Muhammad conquered Mecca in 629 C.E.
At-Tawbah (surah 9) which has those verses about killing the unbelievers and polytheists was the last of surah of Muhammad and, get this, it was revealed in ***630 C.E.**** at the battle of Tabuk when Muhammad was getting ready to face the Byzantine army. So these verses to kill were NOT directed at the Meccans (as you think) as they had already been defeated and converted to Islam the year before. So I have provided you with clear evidence that your idea that Surah 9 only refers to the Meccans is false.
But of course I am aware that facts and information don't win arguments. Now if you believe and agree that IF Muhammad had spread Islam by force and violence, that it would have been terrorism, that we can agree on. For your first point, verse 29: The pagans were ones who considered it lawful to raid caravans, loot, and kill. This is forbidden and therefore they must be battled. The Jizya given willingly is because Jizya is needed for a city or state if they are to be part of the state and paying for its functions, eg tax. (by the way, the tax rate must be low, and historically was, as evidenced by rates during the Rashidun Caliphate). And the reason they must be part of the state and not allowed to be a separate state of autonomy is because they already proved themselves to be enemies and cannot be trusted to strike whenever they wish.
9:111 Given the previous point, nothing wrong here.
9:123 Again, given the initial verses as well as the main point, it is shown that the ones violent against the Muslims are to be fought against. As I'm sure you well know already, you will find in that same chapter verses that say not to fight the ones who do not want to fight the Muslims.
The hadith you quoted is showing that these groups must therefore obey Shariah once they have been defeated and absorbed by the Islamic governing power. They have the right to believe whatever they wish/freedom of religion (reckoning will be with Allah) but they must obey the laws under Shariah.
The other hadith you quoted has nothing to do with anything, only the rights and obligations of Muslims. Not even sure why you quoted that.
The second point you say, when Muhammad PBUH was stronger to the point where the pagans could no longer fight back and realistically win- this is completely normal. If the aggressor pagans picked a fight, they simply lost and were absorbed by the larger and now more powerful Muslims, as I mentioned previously. We can simply agree to disagree if we differ on moralistic points- but I would say that if one groups attacks another and loses, the victor is being quite merciful to let them off with no punishment at all. To absorb as a result is not wrong.
Given that, the last portion you are referring to is completely justified.
Many reliegions were violent back then, but because they were aggressive and were defeated, Islam spread. Remember, 'leave the abyssinians alone as long as they leave you alone and do not fight the turks unless they fight you'. Islam does not promote aggressive violence.
