EUROPE were inducted into the Swedish Music Hall Of Fame on May 3rd 2018. In August of the same year I was in Stockholm to see the band play at Gröna Lund on 31st! Before that concert the band was also awarded by the Upplands Väsby municipality for the efforts they have made for putting Väsby on national and international media through their more than 30-year career!
This video describes my visit of the Swedish Music Hall Of Fame!
EUROPE brought the Swedish hard rock to the international charts!
From the first breakthrough in the National Contest Rock SM in 1982 to the Reunion in 2004, passing through the huge international success of "The Final Countdown".
In the showcase dedicated to the band precious memorabilia is displayed like a pic of the band taken on the roofs of Stockholm in 1986; the prize John Norum got as Best Guitarist at the National Contest Rock SM back in 1982 and his old pedals; the prize EUROPE were awarded with as "Comeback of the Year" at the Classic Rock and Roll Honour in November 2015; some pics from Sweden Rock Festival 2013 and the map with the countries where EUROPE have played so far; the Swedish Grammis 2018 award the band got on February 8th as Best Hard Rock/Metal Band with "Walk The Earth"!!
