No this is our first interaction. I was born and raised in Chennai. The Aayanavaram, Don Bosco shrine was my parish. Now in Vancouver, Canada. Hi Bala, aviod the occasions of Sin- You need to cooperate with the Grace that you receive through the Sacraments
I stopped watching porn few months back. Accept Jesus in your heart you can overcome everything
U will need to have an accountability partner remove every form of Internet that u have access to. U may want to look into fasting and present it to the lord BUT u won’t be able to do it alone. Join a small group (bible study) have one or two accountability partners. Talk to a pastor and set boundaries. Don’t place urself in a place where u may fall. Flee like Joseph did at all times. Start every morning setting time apart for God. Even if it’s 10 mins. Open up the word, pray, read it, pray again and listen. Let the word penetrate your heart and declare his word over ur life. Every time u get a negative thought or image in ur mind rebuke it at that very moment and read a verse over ur life. So in other words, every time the enemy through a lie to u, u turn around and u speak life into ur own life. U tell the enemy that he who lives in u in stronger than he who lives in the world. May the lord bless u and may he show himself strong over ur life in Jesus’s name. Amen!
Each time u fall for ur desires, it's the feeling of guilt which kills your heart... It's impossible to rise from this without God's hands.. realise that even if u watch porn or not, God's love for you never change. It's u who move away from God. The moment u repent from heart, God's peace comes back to u and u are again the son of God. Minimise the period of guilt after succumbing to sin. Be in fellowship with God even while u sin. As soon as u sin, and come back to consciousness, repent and thank God for he has forgiven ur sin.. then enjoy ur time with God. During this time, Pray for ur friends who are sinning. Pray for the porn actresses and actors. Thank God for his unconditional love for u. Thank God for he is faithful even when u ditch him. You will recover with in few weeks.
Realise that it's the work of God. It's impossible for man. You have to just keep ur heart open and receptive for God. He will come after his lost sheep and carry the lame sheep in his arms..

the solution is healthy sexual activity. pornography is unhealthy sexuality. get married and have healthy, normal sex with your wife.
