I was a yacht joiner on the crew which built the very first Talaria, back in 1989, if I’m not mistaken. I was pulled off of my regular position building Sou’wester 51’/52’s. I took enormous pride in my work, and knew well she’d prove timeless.

I've always loved Hinckley for all the points you mention. If I'm not mistaken they also have a kevlar/carbon fibre hull. Hence the high price. Worth every penny.

Your right she is timeless and a very elegant classy Lady, but you can see where more modern ships get their ideas - engines, bathing platforms ect. Lovely paintwork, high standards of decor and varnished wood. The helm is varnished wood but she has all the necessary screens, throttles ect to keep people safe. The salon takes you back in time but modern to cater for food and drink, every area has storage. Like the separate toilet and shower rooms. Thanks for reviewing her, she deserved your attention.
