Thank you for working on this one. This song takes me back to the old family homestead in Union Point, Ga where all the family came to visit. My uncles and aunts would drink Pabst Blue Ribbon and sing gospel songs to the moon.
A little factoid: Tim McGraw"s father was Tug McGraw. Tug McGraw was a really good lefty pitcher for the Detroit Tigers. As a child, I watched him pitch on black and white TV before color came around.
Oh wow! I’ve been playing around a bit with this before, this is going to be a great help. Thanks, Chris! I have a request for the fiddle part of ”The Idiot”, by late Canadian folk musician Stan Rogers, I believe it’s his brother, who’s still active, Garnet Rogers that play the fiddle part.
wow sounds incredible, would love to learn this instrument
Fantastic!! You make it sound effortless, but that is a hard fiddle part!!
Thanks!

How about Fiddle Fingers or did I miss that ? Thanks 😊
Hi Chris….from my searching around it looks like it was Glen and Stuart Duncan that played the fiddle on this song.
Thanks Robert.
