Good morning and happy Wednesday! This is such a wonderful project. That little bit of faux suede just takes it up a notch, and those cunning little bird zipper pulls are simply ::chef's kiss:: And the fabrics! Absolutely gorgeous. The pinkish-orange of the birds looks like a sunset reflecting off their feathers against a twilight sky. They did a great job with the coordinating thread and zipper, too. It looks like everything you need is in the box, including the fleece so that's a plus for sure. I'm glad this and the Sew What boxes seem to have pulled you out of your slump :-) It's a shame that SC is switching to mailers rather than boxes. The three Stash Builders I have received so far all came in boxes; they are so sturdy and stackable. I'm going to hate to see them go, although I'm sure they would have continued with them if it had been feasible.
I love the thought they put into all the details. It’s never just random zipper and somewhat coordinated colours. You can tell everything is intentional and even when I’m not a fan of colours or patterns, I can always understand where they are coming from. This is a pretty simple bag, but I agree, the faux leather changes it up. I am hoping I do eventually stop getting birds though 😂 it’s like I spoke something into the world and the fates took me literally. These boxes and the looming deadline of converting my sewing space over to a guest space helped pull me out of my slump, so let’s hope I manage to get it all done by next Friday! I like the boxes too, but my millennial heart could not just recycle them for years, so I may have a surplus and shifting to a mailer could help me overcome my hoarder tendencies.
Mushroom fabric ! I think I saw some mushroom fabric in green in the tutorial video and it looked so cool. I was a bit jealous but I love ❤️ the Stars so I’m still very happy. Blue would have been pretty cool, but the teal/turquoise colour way is always appealing 😁
Love this project! I need to get sewers club boxes again but I told myself I had to finish all my previous boxes before I do and I’ve got one from 2022 still hanging around 😂
If they have boxes left, they usually make them available in the following month, so you may not have missed out! I get working through your stash though, lord knows if I didn’t commit to sharing them on my channel, I’d end up with a pile of them too. My mother in law was getting them for her various gifts and had us stop last year so she could catch up, she still hasn’t either 🤣

Very nice. You got a different color way from mine. I got the Blue Fabric A , Light Brown Faux Suede and the Mushroom Fabric.
