Technique. He threw arm punches and sometimes arm punches are powerful like Gary Goodridge but that's because he had incredible fast twitch muscles like a 90s ngannou. Bob is simply massive. He has no advantages besides that. His arm punches take a whole second from load up to strike. The way he punches also makes his reach far less of an advantage.
Steroids. Hormones.
If he only could of learned, he did drop Ernesto Hoost twice the first time walking through that legends low kicks. He lost his fight after cro cop broke his face. The he learned the technique of lay er down

Yeah he's not a good fighter at all, has little stamina, is afraid of being hit in the face and loses more than he wins. But he's fun to watch! That has value in my books.
I think the guys awesome. He's an absolute genetic freak and I envy him for that. That said, he has practically no technique and a glass jaw. He is just way to big to be a professional fighter and the fact he is very very quickly fatigued proves it. As for the love he gets in Japan, he's an oddity there. A quasi-freak show fighter beloved not for his skill nor his personality , but for his uniqueness in a society of people who aren't even 1/2 his size on average.

No one will ever accuse Remy of being a warrior. If u give him the easy way out he'll 100% try to take it. Badr Hari barely touched him while he was down and Remy acted like he was dying. Skill wise though he's very talented. Izzy is a lot like him when it comes to skills.

Sapp looks more like a body builder than a fighter. He runs out of steam fast, can't deliver a proper punch, knee (never mind a reverse kick) and as soon as he's hit, he drops. Stick to pumping iron my friend.

What I always wondered is why Sapp never worked more on his cardio, the guy's got amazing strength but wears out so fast.
His size is a disadvantage. Having big muscles is not an advantage when fighting.

The best and hardest hitting boxers have the right combination of throwing mass and hand speed (plus of course .. endurance). Sapp has the mass but no speed whatsoever.
