Wow. I really needed this teaching. I always embraced being poor because I rejected the "prosperity gospel" bc of how demonic it is but now I see how thats just been twisted and defiled like everything else.
You want to be in the mean.
Don't despise wealth and don't seek it above all.

After reading this passage it blew my mind. I believe it's the key to real financial success. When you make the most high your priority all over your needs will be met according to his riches in glory...Our relationship with money is all about perspective. This verse proves it.
Proverbs 30:7 Two things I have asked of You;
Do not deny them to me before I die:

Keep deception and lies far from me;
Give me neither poverty nor riches;
Feed me with the food that is my portion,

So that I will not be full and deny You and say, “Who is the Lord?”
Or that I will not be poor and steal,
And so profane the name of my God.
Sounds like the better we become with having money but not committing idolatry with it, the more we'll be able to have.
Imagine being a (Royal Priesthood) & being broke.. If your a Christian and get offended by wealth you will be offended when you see the Kingdom of God full of streets of gold & full of mansions created by our heavenly father prepared for those who love him.. People need to read their Bible. The Love of money is the root of all evil, not money in itself. We need money to bless others, further the kingdom of God, be fruitful & multiply. Great content! I think that another reason why Christian’s idolize poverty is because it’s an easy out for laziness. You get to say you’re “trusting God” while you do nothing. Rather than being disciplined in pursuit of abundance, in faith, and believe God will bless you. That’s honestly scarier b/c that’s hope. Then the devil lies and says you’ll be disappointed. So you revert back to lazy faith.

The wisdom put into this content is absolutely ridiculous. I love the analogy of the elephant. As christians we put ourselves inside of an invisible cage pretending we're righteous for staying inside of it. He doesn't respond to our need he responds to our faith. Obedience is the frame for success with God. These ideas are so unapologetic and refreshing.

Im 23 years old and ive had these same thoughts for the past 5 years in regards to money my season of plenty is near, and I thank God in advance for it. But this video really was MORE confirmation for me to ensure my relationship with money does not come before my relationship with the father, this channel is a Gem.
It is subtle. God gives us gifts but we don’t worship or “hope” in the gifts. We also don’t reject the gifts.

I want to answer that last question as "everything". But the reality would be "everything I am able to handle and still be able to trust and depend on Him".
In Philippians Paul emphasizes that he learned to be content in any circumstance, whether in need or abundance. It's really tough to trust God in terrible need, but it's also difficult to remember his provision in times of prosperity. Great conversation.
The hardest part for me was not putting hope in money. When something good happen do I think “Yes, I’m gonna be okay,” or do I think “Thanks God for this” - this is the subtle difference between getting God’s provision and idolatry / self righteousness.

I always really believed that it was ok to be Rich that the problem was only the LOVE of money. I took that too mean don't hurt anyone to get rich but I think it means that we must rely on God, love him the most. Still learning. So I have had anger and not being wealthier though I wasn't that obedient I guess
It comes from Jesus
When he asked the rich follower to gave up all his possessions to follow him.
Jesus had no materials things that chain him so that is why Christians see being rich as a chain
If it hinders you from following Jesus it is mammon not money - the worship of money
I like what Myron Golden says about this: that was an individual prescription, not a cure for everyone.
Jesus told him to do this, in order to show him he couldn't follow the law, because he had just told Jesus that he kept the law.
Being rich or poor shouldnt change your heart.
Jesus said deny yourself and take up your cross and follow me. He also said you cannot serve God and mammon (riches). Jesus said how hard it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.
Jesus also said lay up treasures in Heaven not on the Earth where the moth corrupts and the thief breaks through and steals.
But Jesus made alot of people wealthy in scripture… unless you don’t think Jesus is God. He’s literally the God of the Old Testament. He was simply saying dont worship $$$. This is the same nonsense argument as thinking married sex is bad because the Bible is against sexual immorality. Having lots of money isn’t bad. Idolizing it is. This isn’t rocket science but Pharisees confuse easily💯

Being poor is a sign of unfaithfulness to Jesus. Not taking care of your family is a sin, not giving is a sin. In the principles if tithing it literally says the flood gates or heaven will open upon you and poor out blessings over you. So the more you tithe the more you make and the more you can give and offer. So how dare you sin against God. Because he told his people that if they don't tithe, they are stealing from Him. Stealing blessing and opportunities to grow spiritually. Also being I'm debt is a sin.
If God ownes everything and i am His son... So , like the father answers to his elder son in the prodigal son.. "Everything that i have is yours"... I believe that i am that eldest son. !

I'm a south African Christian a white male 48 years old and trying to make honest living buying and selling and I believe God wants us financially stable but when you trying and the money doesn't come in like it should and you pray for advice what should I change but God seems silent what should we do then I've seen 2 fisherman using the same bait same Rods and standing almost next to each other the catches 10 fish and other catches nothing can you explain this lots of poor people want to have more but life is not always fair Solomon spoke about this evil people getting rich and good people suffering how do you know if you doing the right job and will it make me rich one day I trust God for provision but there is times were I get frustrated because I battle so much and I feel like I try .
Men who assume that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

TITHING IS DEFINITELY A LAW. ASKING God what he wants u to do is always the best way. This will help u 2 give with a cheerful heart.
We don't follow the law unless you are Jewish. Pretty sure that's why Jesus came. lol

Giving out of obligation = law = bondage.
Giving out of gratefullness = grace = free.
We aren’t under the law. It’s been 2000 years. Paul railed against it and yet Christians still wish to be under the curse.
Yes u are being honest! We should not worship mud of which Adam was the first one made & then us. There’s not utility in him or us & yes mud, Adam & humans are “kinda gross” especially in the light of God, It’s Christ & all things of heaven. Good idea not to worship mud & therefore ourselves. Mud from the ground just keeps us mud beings alive from the food that can grow from it & on the cycle goes.
“Labour not to be rich”……we aren’t to live for personal wealth. Money comes and goes. It is all Gods money. If we stress over money it’s an idol. Anytime we say Christ isn’t enough is idolatry. Idolatry always = burdens.

We can only serve one master. Whatever we want to think about money. The love of money…..leads most to Hell. Jesus calls it “filthy lucre” and “unrighteous money”.
I’ve met many Christian’s addicted to money. They have an evil eye. Stressed. Angry. Stingy.

Those two things aren't mutually exclusive, also a lot of great Bible individuals were wealthy from Abraham to Jesus.. reason being God allows them to be a vessel to bless through their weath. Dont limit yourself. THE LORD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU

God made heaven with streets of dirt; oh wait.... God made the Garden of Eden so tiny that Adam & Eve went hungry; oh wait... The Hebrews of the Exodus had to go hungry and weren't miraculously provided for; oh wait... God gave His design for a Tabernacle & Temple with mud bricks & iron; oh wait.... When ancient Isael was obedient & feared God, He made poverty so commonplace that silver was rare & scarce; oh wait.... Then in Acts the Body shared everything they had so that they had so many unmet needs; oh wait...
