Show @RedBulletProductions some love!

Thanks Highly. Fun fact: the blue outfit is now considerd a sort of national treaure, it is in the collection of the museum Beeld en Geluid.
One of the greatest Dutch bands in the early days, 70' 80 's.
A great trip down memory lane to my wonderful youth, when listen to this one.
Finished with school and life began 😁
Thanks mate 👍👌
This surely was the radio friendliest song from their discography. Personally I liked the era before they went 'poppy' a lot more. In those years their style was prog rock, clearly influenced by the likes of early Genesis (with Peter Gabriel). I still cherish their concept albums 'Song of the Marching Children' and 'Atlantis'. You'd be surprised how very different these albums sound in comparison to 'Weekend'.
this was a catchy song, but live they were even far better, i had the honour to meet them in person as they played near my hometown in Germany, and helped them out as they had some issues with an amplifier, after their soundcheck.... thx for the reaction, i hope the singer Jerney is still doing well today, as i heard she had some major issues with the parkinson disease ? grts from a dutch cheesehead in Allemania
Yes Ronny I also hope that she is doing well. So sad for her that she has had Parkinson's for years. Such a pity was a beautiful woman then. It's a rotten disease. My mom also had Parkinson's .
Her Husband who was playing guitar behind her on te right, he suddely passed away a few months back and he was her carer. so sad.
Looooooooooooooooooong time ago that I've heard this song . I still consider the 60's/70's/80's/90's as the time where the best music was produced and I wasn't even allive back then.
Saw them in concert way back, think it was in Rotterdam. Good band good singer. This brings back memories. Thanks !
This is a part of my childhood. Jerney with her blue outfit… everyone was talking about it! Love the song ….. thanks😃🙋🏼♀️
This is where I jumped ship when it came to Earth & Fire. Up to this they were a great rock band so if you want to hear something more rocking check out the album version of the song Storm And Thunder. Lead singer Jerney Kaagman was clearly influenced by Grace Slick from Jefferson Airplane. The album Song Of The Marching Children is quite a seminal progrock album when you consider it was released in 1971. The two brothers Koerts (guitars and keyboards) clearly had heard King Crimson and The Moody Blues and it shows on the album. This album was released in the same month as Yes’ Fragile and Genesis’ Nursey Cryme. Earth & Fire clearly had their finger on the right pulse.
Old sweet memories.👍👍 That outfit was stunning 🤩
Fun fact GE came with Weekend, and E&F ad basically at the same time.
Bizarrely
Love this song. Another Dutch golden oldie (imo) or guilty pleasure for some is 'Why tell me why' by Anita Meijer. I can't help turn the volume way up and 'sing' along when I hear it. 🤭😅
Thank you very much. I am very happy that someone has finally made a video of Earth & Fire. I hope more people can know this great Dutch rock band. I hope you can send more videos about them, and I will fully support you!
I´m a huge reggae fan and I didn´t knew this song before. This really blows my mind!
Hey this is an old song. Was a big hit then. Was 11 of 12 years old at the time. Nice to hear again.
Great reaction there, HxC! The month this song was released as a single in the Netherlands, which was in November of 1979, I turned 11 and I remember watching them on TV and finding myself smitten with the lovely Jerney Kaagman, their lead singer. Oh, and I liked the song as well, cuz, it was kinda catchy. Keep it up bro!
Oh maybe do the 'Song of the Marching Children' too. That was even earlier than that, and a far better song too.
Ohh this was a long time ago!!
Certainly for my 'foute' playlist!
Thx for reacting 🎤🎶💜
She has other videos with other amazing outfits from similar materials. Multiples of just this song. Same awkward dance in each one. Also check out What Difference Does it Make to see Jerney’s sexiness go up to 11. (and I’m a straight female)
This is a golden oldie right there. Love the song.
Talented prog group and many a listen for me.
It's strange, but this song is the biggest hit of Earth and Fire, it peaked at number one at four or five countries in Europe, i say this because the band is known for their progressive rock in the early seventies, the song is very simple in terms of music but at that time the band became a pop/rock band, one thing is sure, Jerney Kaggman, the vocalist, is undoubtedly fantastic, i was very surprised to see that you choose this song for your reaction because nobody talks about this band on UA-cam and that's a great shame, this band had great albums and a unique sound, cheers!
You know the band Already 🙈
In my opinion, their previous albums are much better, "Earth and Fire", "The Song of the Marching Children", "Atlantis", and even "To The World Of The Future" (they started to show some disco and pop elements in this last one), then, you should definitely try other songs you can find in youtube like; "Memories", "The song of the Marching Children", "Storm and Thunder", "Maybe tomorrow maybe tonight", "Atlantis" (only audio), "Invitation" or "Ruby is The One"
It's like ABBA and the wailers had a baby.
Very good
Bert Ruiter ex Focus bassist playing here...her husband at the time I believe.
My husband wash in love with her..I don,t mind she wash gorgeous. ☺☺☺
@@YonIon996 Yeah..he married me😆😆😆😆

Love this song!!💜🎤🎶
Seasons. Do that. High
I have this cd, lovely music
Song of the marching children is a great album.
I’m feeling the 1980s ❤
you shld try listen to a song from the dizzy man’s band. Also a Dutch gem.
loved the song back then and still do i was 11/12 at that time ...i thought she looked great in that jumpsuit too
Wow thats a part of my history...
Back in the day .. camera's were those big ass bulky things. Operated by a camera man, and two man to tow about the the whole contraption ... the dance she came up with to have a little fun with the cameraman. They had to keep her centered, and she was moving out of center none stop on purpose. there's even one recording were she visibly gets told to keep it down ... and she does for 5 seconds ... and then you see her face go ;"fuck it." and one of the band members nearly losing it course they know what she's doing.
the gratest dutch band was ``van den berg``
if it ain't dutch it ain't much... 🙃😉🙃
Danny, how old are you? 6 maybe?
@@Paul_C are you jealous ?
The Album just was the best of them. :)
Tracks from album Atlantis, much better, something unforgettible.
So long time ago
I’m old 😂
Haha me too. Nice that club oldies here 😂
@@wilmagrevenmulder6225 remember Song of the Marching Children? To me it was the better song. Though there's a difference of 10 years between them.
@@Paul_C No I didn't know that. Well Maybe Tomorrow and Memories from the radio. Maybe just a little before my time I guess. And in 1979 I was 12 😀
I’m old
