🥁The SECRET TO STRONGER HANDS is out now: ua-cam.com/video/436yCE6idrs/v-deo.html
Thank you so much for watching!
This is not a beginners drum lesson. This is like beginner / intermediate. As a beginner, you should be focused on getting each finger to coordinate, getting comfortable with the French grip, and just learning to get your hands to hold the grip correctly. Thisis a beginners video: ua-cam.com/video/upJNKwWJR8k/v-deo.html. This video is still great, but not a real beginner. This is after you have some pretty decent coordination.
I’ve been looking for a very detailed explanation that leaves no stone unturned. Thank you for not just assuming people would know what you’re talking about.
There are a lot of beginners who struggles with their hand techniques... They are gifted to get these type of lessons... Love ur tips... Keep up bro🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much! Really glad this works! Let's gooooo!

Thank you, Colibrí (hummingbird). It sounds great. I've Subscribed.
Im going to play the drum at my church so I come here the best advice and I even got some fills from this channel
Technically the last finger should also help with movement of the stick, don’t just let it go like he did.
I know lol I came here in the comments just to see what other people said about it
@@Bobbrobergfr. I actually use the technique n I realized that every other drummer does it normally. So I gotta relearn some stuff
ua-cam.com/video/gTkUKJqMglc/v-deo.html lol sorry couldn't resist
That's why he said, "There is no right or wrong".

Nice tips, thanks
Nice techniques for beginners ...👍
Cool video! Thanks a lot man
Thank you so much dr
love your videos bra thank u
The most important thing about playing the drums is being comfortable behind your kit not some technique or trick. From a drummer of fifty years. Also: I have short arms and if I used this technique I would not be able to reach my cymbals as this technique effectively reduces the size of my drum sticks by half and the bottom end of the sticks would keep catching my groin area due to the increased length of the bottom end of the drumsticks. The take home message from this text is find how you feel comfortable and relaxed behind your kit (which will make you play better just because you are relaxed and comfortable) find out what works for you and practice, and after you have finished practicing, practice some more. And to tell how good a drummer is you need to see them playing the drums, that is doing what a drummer does. In other words, playing with other musicians not playing clever little beats that are too involved and only applicable to tunes that clever little beat fits. And if anyone is interested check out The Longest Day at Justin's Shed. Skip the beginning it is just me getting excited with a camera.
very helpful thanx bruthu )

I would recommend using pinky as well.
Good video
what a great video
Glad you think so!!
I like this
Wow❤
if im master this..my wife will so happy 😁
i like i use... tx
Great video but one major issue with the technique.
1:19 You should be using your pinky along with your other two fingers to snap the stick.
The pinky is the shortest finger on your hand (Next to the thumb) so it will pull the stick down quicker than your ring and middle finger. Meaning you can do faster strokes utilizing the pinky.
Jojo Mayer made one of the best drum technique videos to date and talks about the benefits of utilizing your pinky on freehand strokes.
I was going to comment this. Sometimes I have the bad habit of letting my pinky go, but once it's back on there is so much more control there. I hope not too many drummers listen to this guy and stop using their pinkies.
@ongdrumstudio Can you provide the link for the Jojo Mayer drum technique video about using fingers. I can't find it - thanks!

good friend
I'm a begginer and this tutorial helps me a lotttttt!! Thanks Alejandro!!
That's greaaat! Really glad to help !
Tres interessant
Grscias gracias gracias
Gracias a ti!
Alejandro, i have a custom snare drum idea. Since you love drumeo so much, why not make a custom drumeo snare drum. Basically you can add the drumeo logo on the side of the snare and make the drum head look like your drumeo practice drum pad.
hahaha that's a great idea! A drumeo snare would be nice!
Hi Alejandro, my son is a drum learner. can i download your videos for him to watch and learn
Drummer here of Bat Brain. I was always told to keep my pink on the stick, and that it had the most leverage and was imperative for doubles? Is that now old thinking? I'm open to anything new that comes along
Hey man! Love the way you teach and i just wanted to get to a specific point
That technique is sure subjective and technically there is no right or wrong i agree
But of course the way we move our body determines for how long we are going to be able to move it for
And personally i have struggled with technique creating problems in my hands until a teacher showed me a way that was tension free and protects the longevity of my musical career
Hopefully you take this with no offense🙏🏼respect
My wife will definitely like this
Muito útil pra quem treina rudimentos

Ya esta en español hermano!
Everytime I try using my fingers my had slides up the stick and I lose the bounce. Do I just need to grip it tighter?
Hi bro, which grip do you use
I love it when you do the Maneskin pose
The best pose on Earth!
I watch Drumeo sometimes do see good drummers
It's greaaaaat to learn new stuff!
Wow
finally you are back, and i have question. do you know trinity collage of london ?
We active bro! No, I don't know them :(
You should do another drum cover with your new ROCK STARS 2 LED LIGHT DRUM STICKS. Like Stronger by Kelly Clarkson, or Break Free by Ariana grande. Maybe Counting Stars by OneRepublic.
Those are great song! More videos with the light sticks to come!
So your saying, moving our fingers are going to set our arms on fire 🔥 🔥
THAT IS TRUEEEEE 🔥 🔥🔥 🔥
Ohoo nice
Ohhhh yeaaaah!
That drumeo merchandise looks cool, where did you get it from.
Right here: www.drumeo.com/clothing/
There is a reason why my friend doesn’t believe me when i play my fastest double strokes without rolling because of fingers but the pinky is also very integral in the strokes especially in rudimental, orchestral, and marching drumming. Drum set is a whole other world because u use a lot lighter sticks compared to the others
Dude, you should do a Star Wars drum cover since you have Baby Yoda. You can use your LED LIGHT UP drum stick like the lightsabers, but you should probably get the red or green ones since you only have the blue ones.
That's be sick! A star wars cover!
dude your so cool
Not as cool as you!
Genial
Con todooooo!
Please I really need to learn hw to drum please
Muy buenas!!!

I used to have a band with my friends haha it was cool!
