Milwaukee's Roads are HORRIBLE! Pot holes, sink holes and lumpy cheap asphalt patches are everywhere. Milwaukee's roads rank 5th in the nation for bad condition. The current Mayor (since 2004), Tom, aka "Do Nothing" Barrett spent millions for a "partial" trolley system for a couple areas nobody wanted and is hardly used. Taxes have just been raised and yet drivers slow down or drive around pot holes and rough patches of roadway. If you're moving to Milwaukee get a cheap used car. Save your money on suspension, tires and alignment repair costs. The street conditions are ridiculous.
Almost every big city have similar street names because of how old the cities are “ How hard would it be to somehow ensure that all the streets in all the towns in all the states had unique names? We would have had to create a national database of street names when America was being settled. All over the world cities have streets with similar names. Streets most often get named by a description, the street where the church is located gets called “Church street”. The main street in the town where all the stores are gets called Main St. In addition to that, when a town grows rapidly and a number of streets have to be named, it’s easy to choose a theme like types of trees, so you get a lot of elm, oak, pine, and maple streets. The street by the river gets called River St. A lot of city planners name streets after their wives and daughters.” - from quora
Spent most of the drive east of the river. Only one short run on Wisconsin av going east. Didnt get too far west. Could have gone to 21st and Kilbourn and showed where Jeffery Dahmers apartment was.
Driving the N-S streets in downtown does not give people a good view of things. Better to drive Wisconsin Ave in either direction or State Street and traverse the E-S streets.

That's a small downtown just a stone throw away from Chicago I thought it might be bigger similar to Chicago it kind of is but Chicago is 10 times bigger especially the downtown area bustling downtown Milwaukee is desolate downtown Chicago thriving and bustling
Your "Milwaukee Avenue" is actually Milwaukee Street. When You made the right turn You were then on Wisconsin Avenue, our main street. Michigan "Avenue" is actually Michigan Street. "R. Philips" is correctly Vel R. Philips, or just Vel Philips Avenue. You give no credit to Saint Paul Street. Broadway in Milwaukee is just that and not avenue. Street signs say "North Broadway". You didn't credit Martin Luther King Drive (3rd Street). Third is 3rd not 3th. The left turn off of East Wisconsin was onto Jefferson Street. No credit given when you are off of Prospect turning onto the foot of Wisconsin Avenue. Then at last you turn down Jackson Street still calling it Prospect. I hate being so critical, but things like this video should be correct in every way. A cloudy, rainy day in Milwaukee isn't very appealing for a video. The stops at red lights should have been edited out. It's enough waiting at those lights in real time. I was born and raised in Milwaukee, and am proud of my city of 600,000 people. Otherwise this is a good video to see just a small portion of this city. There is so much more that is attractive here. The drive along Lake Michigan can't be beat. And there are many great neighborhoods to visit. My comments here are not to put you down but to help for future endeavors.
That place looks as dead as our lives out here in Illinois. That is messed up! That is a dead stick! Covid is ahhhhhh . . . We're just wasting away in a dead life. There is like nobody.
And plus he usually records in the early early morning hours of Saturday/Sunday.. I’m sure Milwaukee is no different.. all cities in the US (MAYBE besides NYC) are “dead” on those times/days of the week
