Hi, we came back from Hyatt vivid grand island this week, here is my review.
We were there from June 11-17. It was smooth in check in, but our room wasn't ready yet since we arrived early.
During that time, one of the employees showed up and offered to show us around. Then he told us because we booked the vantage club room, we're eligible for $350, but we have to have breakfast at one of the Hyatt resorts. I knew it was a timeshare presentation right away. When we said we would think about it, his manager came right away and pressed us into making a decision. We didn't like that.
During our stay, we did not get food poisoning. We enjoy the food from all the restaurants, but our favorite is the breakfast buffet, as well as the Mexican and Japanese dishes. The staff members are all so friendly and passionate.
The drinks at the vantage club lounge are the best. It's too bad the lounge doesn't offer a greater variety of snacks and food.
The power went out three times during one night and I was annoyed because when the power came back on, all of the lights in the room were on, so I had to get up to turn them off.
Our room was on the 19th floor, and we didn't hear any construction noise.
We went to the beach club, so we made a reservation the day before. It is a beautiful place, and the food at the Beach Club is excellent.
The rooftop -since it was so windy when we were there, we could only stay there for one day. However, the rooftop is beautiful and the view is breathtaking. It would have been nice if they offered food on the rooftop during the daytime as well.
We had a great time and would definitely return, I hope they can expand the coco bar and offer a lunch and dinner buffet in the future.

Good review of the room, I am worried because I have a reservation for May 18 and I found the reviews on Google Maps very discouraging, especially regarding the food, restaurants and construction noise. Could you give me more information about this? thanks for the video

Hello, you’re welcome and thank you for the support. Honestly, the hotel just opened 3 weeks ago, so they are working on a lot of things at once. As for the food, it is very great. Keep in mind that all inclusive hotels are not known for their food, but this one in particular is very good. For now, they are cycling only 2 restaurants per night, sometimes 3 due to low traffic. The construction is going to take place, but it isn’t to the point where you can’t sleep at night, it’s more visual than anything. The customer service, decor of the entire resort, and hospitality is top notch. Overall, it is a great hotel and being that it just opened, it’s not going to be at full capacity, but I would still recommend you to try it out for yourself. Me personally, I wanted to test the waters and watch the growth of the hotel before it becomes too pricey lol because it will for sure rise in price due to all of the amenities and activities that comes with it. I hope I was able to provide clarity.

Thank you for the quick response and I agree with you, each person should experiment to have their own experience, something that I don't like is that on the website it appears as if everything was functional. It would be good if they mentioned, for example, about the restaurants that are not all open, what I have read with good reviews is the beach club, any tips or opinions on this, thanks in advance

I definitely agree. I felt as if it was a little false advertised. They are advertising 11 restaurants, and numerous activities, but we as guests aren’t able to experience them all and their reasoning is “low occupancy”. In that regard, I totally agree. That part sucks about the stay and I can understand the frustration. Some people may only be able to visit once and won’t be able to come back and experience the hotel at full capacity, so I understand the mixed reviews. The hotel should definitely give a heads up about that, but I kind of expected that going into my stay. As for any tips, it is possible to get a complimentary VIP beach club stay free of charge for now due to the grand opening, so speak to the front desk about setting that up for you. The VIP will be a paid for service in the near future, but for now it’s free. @@OSCAR-on2bd
