I stayed here in January. Lovely resort with amazing service. There wasn't much for entertainment when we were there, but I have heard that has gotten better. It's a great value for those wanting a low key vacation.
We had live music each evening and then a show or activity later.
How warm was the ocean when you went? Was it windy on the beach?
@@dougdean8996 We were there in January and the beach was windy, but not unbearable. The water was warm.
Hey Angie. Thanks for the great information. Keep it up.
Hi Frank! Thanks!
Great review!!! Thank you! 😁
Thanks!
Hey Angie, Thanks so much for the video. My wife and I were trying to decide between this resort and another. Your video was great.
If you are a US citizen living in the USA, you could book your trip through me and get a personalized list of pros and cons for each resort. Emails angie@tripswithangie.com to get started.
I saw your video to decide if I will work there, it is beautiful!
Glad you found it helpful.
We are there in September. Great video.
Enjoy!
Hello great video 💗 how’s the nightlife?
Nightlife really depends on the guests. They had something every night - a show or activity plus the sports bar.
Angie, thank you 4ur video. One question: the sea water has fine sand or stones?
It's a bit rocky.
Looking at this resort for Christmas. Wife gluten free how are they with allergies I know the ask at each restaurant but how is the selections
A lot of foods are naturally gluten free so that's not a problem.
We stayed at Dreams Los Cabos last year and wasn’t impressed with the food other than their Buffett. How was the food here since their comparable?
What didn't you like about the food?
@@TripswithAngieI literally got an anxiety attack when they brought me out their chicken Alfredo because it tasted nothing like American chicken Alfredo. The room decor was very dated as well. I ended up having to upgrade to a beach front room because the view they gave me was of the dry aqueduct and a porter potty. The waves were so loud in the room so it made it difficult to sleep well. I went there hoping to save $$ compared to what I would have spent at the Hilton Los Cabos but it turned out to be almost the same which makes me sad because the Hilton is absolutely amazing!! The hospitality, the view, the aesthetic’s and the food are unbeatable so far for me. Not to mention we agreed to the timeshare meeting and they literally wouldn’t let us go and tried to offer us alcohol when we told them we didn’t drink but it really ruined it for my husband especially. I might only return there if I took the kids and got a major steal or a deal. Truly not trying to be negative, it was just our experience.
Is there an upgraded room catagory ?
Sure
Hello! A few questions…Is room service included? Is room service included?
Yes.
Do they have pool or beach service? (drinks or food)
They have drink service.
Really wish they added more pools to the secrets Capri layout. They kept it the same, severely lacking.
We didn't have any trouble. Did you have a hard time finding seats?
@TripswithAngie Not at all. We have been to nine 5* adults only resorts, and have never seen less than 3 pools at a resort before.
I thought the reason they took over Secrets Capri would be to totally redo it, add new layouts and pools etc.
Was just so let down to see all they did was update rooms.
Just having one big main pool was such a let down! Nowhere to escape the crowds or the entertainment.
We aren't beach people, and appreciate resorts with multiple pool options.
Xcaret arte and secrets Akumal are our favorites for Mexico. Would never go here again.
@@kayladeveau2984 The plans never included adding pools.
@TripswithAngie I know...I am just stating that I really wished Hyatt's takeover involved changing what it used to be (besides simply upgrading the interior). It still feels like Secrets Capri, but with added makeup to hide its flaws.
Is there a water park?
I show the whole resort in the video.
How do you know where you can’t sit on the beach?
You can sit anywhere on the beach.
How many restaurants are on the resort?
I show them all in the video.
Can't just answer the question🙄
All we have is debit. Can you get a prepaid credit card I wonder. I had NO idea about that.
If you only have a debit card, be prepared for it to freeze $500 of your funds for 2 weeks.
What? So what form of payment can you use prefer a cc?
What would everyone suggest ziva or zilara?
Out of the four in Mexico? I'd pick Hyatt Zilara Cancun because of the pool overlooking the ocean. Plus I'll always choose the adults only if I'm traveling without kids.

@@TripswithAngie quick question doesn’t ziva Cancun have more pools and a better beach though? I’m more a sucker for a nice beach
