NIce Job! i used you dimensions and priced a kit on amazon. Ended up buying what I think was cedar fence boards from hd for 2.87 each 4 and glues and make it. screwed it together and made the front with a 6in opening across the entire front and slanted the roof.................thanks for the inspiration and sharing
😀 The only thing that I would do differently is not shoot the nails upside down. Too much can go wrong for you. Watch your fingers where you place them when using the nailer. Those nails go sideways sometimes. 😊
Nice craftsmanship- however, the depth is not deep enough to prevent baby owlets from falling out of the box prematurely & dying. It would need to be at least 460-700 mm deep. And adding a small rectangular flight deck with a minuscule downward sloping lip would also prevent a sibling from accidentally pushing the other to the ground & potential death. Keep up the great work & I look forward to seeing what you come up with!😊
after trying to find an owl box video that was easy to follow, I AM SO HAPPY I FOUND THIS! This is a great video easily explaining what to do!
for 3 years several other birds and animals used it. Finally, THIS year a screech moved in. THANK YOU !!! Now I need to build more... lol
Your doing an excellent job sharing your craft
Way to go. I have owls in my area and I’d love to have a few closer to the house. I’ll be making a few of these!
Great job.
Used your plans and made a box. Came out nice. Added hinges I had laying around on the door. Added a perch for the outside. Thanks for the plans.
Nice work, easy to follow. Owl nest box looks very durable and well thought out.

I love it. You should make more videos if you are able to!
Your teachers have done well

Do people put a coating outside to keep wood from rot? I think one I built needs replacing bc of moisture
Hi, nice & effocoent. Why would the cleanout be a lower wall panel, and not the bottom piece?
What model of Ryobi are you using thanks

You need to be careful, if the hole is too big Raccoons will get in and take the eggs.
What gauge of Ryobi gun are you using thanks
BREDAN ANSWERS NO MAN. 😂 Cool video though. I'll use it. I believe I'll add a perch though. Ive seen other videos. It seems important.
Brenda what Roby nail gun are you using
Good job! Are you in Nebraska?
I mitered my roof so water would drain better. Is it better to leave it flat? It did cut down in my height.
hey, how much do you charge for the owl house with shipping?
Do you sell these?
Rock on little dude
Love the owl house.
How far down from the top of the front piece do ya make the entrance hole? I played the video back several times an he never said.
14.25" from the bottom and centered. It does say on video
Good Vibe on this one
Bien hecho chavalo.
Dear Brendon, will this Owl house work for Great Horned Owl?
Do you ever sell these? If so, how much do you sell these for for your customers?
Hi, Do you sell these owl boxes you make?
Just wondering how much do you owl box cost. Are you in Australia
Thanks 🙏🏿
Can you do a video of building a cornhole board?
Can you do a shop tour?
Very good but owls like a perch or pad outside the entrance
I've got giant owls, I would need a bigger hole. Also, don't forget to make a perch.

So these particular owls do not need to perch on something before going through the opening?

А где вы видели возле настоящего дерева предохранительный бортик, чтобы совята не выпали? Вот глубина - это правильно.
This video explains the depth needed to prevent death for a young owlet.

25k people have looked into building an owl box... nice
Nice design but it's TOO small for a Barred owl. I think it's fine for a Screech owl.
you look like justin bieber
Very hard to understand what she said . Bad audio
Good job kid, just start using your BIG BOY voice.
