its nice to know that im not the only one who makes them cock ups too.ive been fly fishing since sept and still trying to get the hang of it.ive watched all the same you tube for advice and i have my flies all on mini rigs too.there alot small than yours i can have a 100 rigs in very little space.theres a crowd on ebay that sell them mini rigs 100 for 12.00 the cal lthem eva foam rig winding sea carp.
I try to vary it myself...started on the apps last and the lure before that... think the benefit to starting with the bung is if fishing the margins there's less casting and disturbance on the water so won't spook the fish close in as much?🤷🏼♂️

Personally I never start with the bung if I’m early on the bank. I always start with the lures and slowly adjust to conditions.
