I was just thinking that. My high school band director emailed me after I graduated and said “I miss you holding down bass bone” (I’m going to college to play bass bone professionally)
Dude what they sound great, for him to play a chart made for THE Wayne Bergeron and still play it pretty good, especially for highschool, he played it good
Where’s you bass trb? Also it’s so very scrappy and not together a lot of the time. The lead trpt really can’t do the job either…..the tempo was also rushing away
I just pointed out in the numerous flaws in there performance. They need to play charts more within the capability of the band. Woodwinds and lead trpt range are important things to think about before making attempts to play music. I’d rather hear more straight forward music done well that complicated things done badly. They should stick to nestico…. He’s done a whole wide range of different level charts
It serves no purpose to play a difficult chart badly. It’s one thing letting a band try something hard to give them an idea what they have to get to…. But tailoring music to the capabilities of the band is what good musical directors should do. That way you’re show the band off in its best light… not just thrashing your way through a chart
amazing for a highschool band
apparently highschool bands either sound like the gates of hell or absolutely amazing
phenomenal! This dits are there. The dynamics are fire. Great chart and grant band!
that was absolute fire, sounds professional!

Damn!! Yall killed this chart great job
Great job, but it’s a shame there’s no 4th trombone. The bari sax really can’t do the same job that it does

Especially since the trombone soli becomes amazing because of the bass bone
no ending :( Still good :)
Good, but it’d be better if the first trumpet had range
This was 5 years ago..
Was just bouta comment this what sucks is that the trombones had done a great job and the saxs too just no range on the trumpets

chill it's a high school 💀. They did well. These are kids from one school. Pretty damn lucky to have this talent in one place.

@ Fair enough. I guess being able to play a chart doesn't mean you can play it and play it well.
