So there’s really no way of using the powerstation plus unless there’s a 4 prong on the job site? Most of the houses we do has 3 prong or going directly to the breaker and there’s no information anywhere online that shows us how to work around this problem

Hi @TriHuynhC - To comply with current U.S. electrical codes, the Bona Power Station Plus had to be produced with a 4-wire input. If you've only got a 3-sire power source, one option is to take a 4-wire female plug and wire your two hots on the side terminals and the ground wire into the ground (L-shaped prong) terminal, leaving the bottom (neutral terminal without a wire). When set up like this, the Power Station will still supply power thru the 3-wire output to your sanding machine, but the 110v outlet on the front of the Power Station will not receive power. Hope that helps when you run into these types of power sources on your job sites!

How do I connect my 3 prong cord into the 4 prong side? Can I leave the neutral wire unconnected?

Hi @bricemurr - It's 4-wire for a reason (national electrical code). Also, if it's not hooked up via 4-wire then your 115v outlets on the Power Station will not be available for use.
