    Why do people complain about the repeating of hot keys? It's a tutorial! It's based for all skill levels, I actually think it is really useful that he explains everything e.g. 'D' to default the colours. Thanks for producing content Marty!

    Hey Marty... Use lens flares non-destructively and easier to move around by first placing it on the image, the fill the same layer with black then CTRL+F, then change the blend mode to screen... You'll be able to move the flare wherever you want without having to CTRL+Z and uaing the filter over and over again... Great tutorial as always... Thanks...

  • @obkcaptain
    @obkcaptain 9 років тому

    As usual....great.
    A useful trick to place the lens flare into a precise position: using the window "information" annotate the coordinates. Then when lens flare, push "Alt" and click over the small picture and introduce these coordinates. Then press ok.

      hey few have changed, Ctrl F is now Ctrl alt F (win) Ctrl shift alt E didnt work at all and a bit of googling suggest some workarounds which was " Method #1 - Copy & Paste
      To create a composite layer, do the following.
      This method creates a composite layer, and preserves all of the layers.
      1) Deselect the eye icons on the layers you don't want to merge.
      2) Click the top layer (highlighted).
      3) Go to Select > All.
      4) Go to Edit > Copy Merged.
      5) Go to Edit > Paste.
      bit of a pain in the ass but i got it in the end

    • @BLTV_Photoshop
      @BLTV_Photoshop  2 роки тому +1

      Many of the filter settings will result in a smaller or larger effect based on the size and resolution of the document. Normally, I suggest 1920 x 1080 with a resolution of 150 ppi. Frankly, I forgot why I chose a smaller size. 🙄
