Marty, I learn so much about using Photoshop by going through your tutorials. You have definitely been gifted to teach. When my project doesn't look like yours, I know I've missed a step or a change someplace.

Brilliant tutorial. Thanks for the detailed explanation. I've just subscribed too :)
Why do people complain about the repeating of hot keys? It's a tutorial! It's based for all skill levels, I actually think it is really useful that he explains everything e.g. 'D' to default the colours. Thanks for producing content Marty!
could you do a tutorial on how to make a neutron star/ Pulsar? Would love it!

Nice tutorial.. very detailed steps :)
Outstanding tutorial.....Donald
Marty, you are THE GUY!
Awesome tutorial, you could make that scenery a point of view from an astronaut like you could add a reflection of a face in the middle (and of course have the prism effect not filtered by the glass part of the helmet) and make the helmet cut out a bit of corners. I should do that
Thanks for the help worked out fine this time
best tutorial thanks marty
جوانە ها ، دەستخۆش
im inspired, thank you
That was great!
Excellent!
Amazing … great tutorial … ty … !
wow... so detailed tutorial, i will sub you
Hey Marty... Use lens flares non-destructively and easier to move around by first placing it on the image, the fill the same layer with black then CTRL+F, then change the blend mode to screen... You'll be able to move the flare wherever you want without having to CTRL+Z and uaing the filter over and over again... Great tutorial as always... Thanks...
As usual....great.
A useful trick to place the lens flare into a precise position: using the window "information" annotate the coordinates. Then when lens flare, push "Alt" and click over the small picture and introduce these coordinates. Then press ok.
Terrific Marty! How do you know all this? Your Tutorials are master class
nice tutorial
Tremendous....Thank you.
Marty is awesome!
Make a video that is really complicated. I'm really looking forward to the result. It will be a masterpiece.😊

Because of these tutorials, I got to be the designer for an astronomy t-shirt at school!
really really good tutorial, notice some of the keyboard shortcuts have changed, but a bit of googling sorted that out, subbed and looking forward to more!!
What keyboard shortcuts changed? Thanks.
hey few have changed, Ctrl F is now Ctrl alt F (win) Ctrl shift alt E didnt work at all and a bit of googling suggest some workarounds which was " Method #1 - Copy & Paste
To create a composite layer, do the following.
This method creates a composite layer, and preserves all of the layers.
1) Deselect the eye icons on the layers you don't want to merge.
2) Click the top layer (highlighted).
3) Go to Select > All.
4) Go to Edit > Copy Merged.
5) Go to Edit > Paste.
bit of a pain in the ass but i got it in the end
thank you !!
Mr marty thanks for deep space
marty you're genius and pls you upload a tutorial of photoshop also
THANK YOU
@Blue Lightning Tv hi marty.. i want to learn how to replicate the "extrude effect" used in adobe creative cloud logo..because its has so many colors, transparency and different sizes and looks amazing.. and in that random extruded square they also place their product icons..

good boss .....
Hi
Once again.....U r the magician of Ps...salute ur work....Lv u...i want to see and meet u.....bt this a dream...i think...
Nice Mr.Marty :)
I use PS 7.0 and it doesn't have warp (or rather I couldn't find it). Can u please tell me what to do? This is just amazing that I can't wait to try creating one!
Спасибо Марти :)
so sweettttttttttttttt
why? my photoshop hot key is not same with your tutorial! or not functioning?
PS CS6
Hey Marty, For some reason I am unable to do the effect at 6:10. whenever i go to warp the outer glow, it begins to remove the color from my planet all together. I've been following along exactly. Could it be because my document size is different?
Hi, Can you please show a tutorial of how to create dawn on Saturn?
ua-cam.com/video/2oX5gpJT4_k/v-deo.html
Blue Lightning TV Photoshop Thank you :) Do ypu have one that combines both the Saturn and the Dawn, or can you at least advise at which stage should I add the dawn, instead of the shadow? TIA!
Whenever I brush the planet it does not fade it just stays one bright color
I wish this would work for me
when i press ctrl f it just brings up a search bar so do you know the knew command to repeat the layer? ty
In later versions, press Alt + Ctrl +F.
Hi Marty, Having a problem when i go to put the light spot on the planet mine goes black and not white.Have tried it about 6 times and it always does the same , can you help me out. I follow your tutorial to the letter, don't know what to do wrong.
poppa holmes It appears that you have something inverted. Check your foreground and background colors.
Thanks Marty got it this time, love your tutorials keep up the good work
My planet looks slightly fuzzy, is this because I am using CS5?
+Max Ross No. It could be that your document;s size and/or resolution is small.
Blue Lightning TV ok, thx
Jeez!.. From scratch, eh?..
The outer edge of my planet, when i cut and past to the first document, looks smoky. Literally looks like smoke coming off it. any idea why?
+Deja Hodge When is this step in the video (minute: second)?
+Blue Lightning TV in the beginning where you cut the planet. and drag it to the first document
ULTRA
When I put the planet in the background document, the planet is very pixely! How do I fix this?
You may have started the planet sphere document with a low resolution or started your background document with a very high resolution. Make sure the Width and Height are in PIXELS; not INCHES.
Yes, both of them were the same resolution , at 150 and the w and h were in pixels
FinnishArmy
I'm getting the same problem, theres some distortion going on when the layer is spherized, annoying
FinnishArmy
Are you using CC or CS6? I'm on CS6, maybe a limitation
cs6
Im on poland photoshop and how am I goind to find it the modify like select?
And to contract?
Assuming the Polish version of PS has the same functions, go to Select > Modify > Expand or Contract (in Polish)..
I'm not worthy! Love your vids!!!!!
One question. Why 1550x870 resolution?
Many of the filter settings will result in a smaller or larger effect based on the size and resolution of the document. Normally, I suggest 1920 x 1080 with a resolution of 150 ppi. Frankly, I forgot why I chose a smaller size. 🙄
@@BLTV_Photoshop oh, okay i rolled with the 1550x870 and the converted it to 1920x1080 becouse project required it so. Thanks for your help and answering!
Hi marty
Hi Brother, Please making the map 3D by using photoshop.

I don't have cloud filter....how can I put it?
Go to Image > Mode > RGB color, 8 bits/Channel.
thanx
still didn't apply lol
I only have lens flare and lighting fiber
Cmd/crtl + F doesn't work
On later versions, it's Ctrl + Alt + F.
4 people skipped some step
So, it's clearly now. That's the way Nasa does to manipulate the earth pictures, cuz we know the earth is flat, and the Nasa is manipulating all of you.
i was just joking =p
Great tutorial Thanks!
