  • In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Despite the audio was poorly recorded, I truly appreciated the talk.

What I could hear, sounds very interesting and opens up the dichotomy of "choice" vs "commitment" is some thought-provoking new ways....however, the audio is somehow trying to pick up Ms. Konnikova from the stage microphones instead of a direct, digital connection to her audio feed, and much of her speech is muddled and lost. Whoever made that production choice for this TED Talk needs to learn about how to make the proper choice (pun intended). One way to actually save this talk is to provide us with a decent readable transcript, but I'm not sure if that's the way TED Talks work in conjunction with UA-cam.

The audio cut was a bit hard to hear. But great talk nonetheless. Fan of the biggest bluff

Sadly, the audio in the first 5 min is so bad, so much that even the CC option gets words wrong so I don't know what was the intro of the talk...

I thought that my headphones were messed up. At first I thought my left headphone wasn't working. And then it sounded like an echo chamber. But other videos sound fine.
