1981 through 1987 Dodge built a total of 4 cars. One was used as an Indy pace car. He very could have come across one, but more than likely he got a clone.
The Wraith, was a Dodge M4s which was a one of a kind built for PPG cart Indie series at a cost of $1.5 mil. 2.2 litre 4 cylinder engine with a top speed of 194 mph. A custom Bronze Pearl paint job. This is a good cheesy movie with hot girls, douche bag bad guys, decent car chases and a few explosions and a somewhat bitchen soundtrack.
Music back in the 80s and 90s were full of energy and then some. Full of emotion and passion...and ACTUAL inspiration for kids back then with awesome lyrics...this is one of the gems.
100% agree there. 80s rock was just full of passion and actual happiness, unlike modern day rock which is all about singers being angry and screaming at their daddy issues.

Just saw it recently again in HD on cable......I liked it better now than back then. The Crow movie totally ripped this movie off......even one of thugs names in Crow is Skank.....just like Skank from the Wraith.

You remember when Slice or Minute Maid had a soda? Jolly Rancher doesn't even make pink lemonade anymore or it's really rare if they do. McDonald's had all kinds of stuff. McDonaldland cookies. I think they had like a McPizza or something at some point? Every city had local metal bands fighting each other to try and secure a recording contract. Hip-Hop was still about house parties... all that. Even the suburbs looked like something out of Growing Pains. College kids invited Grandpas Bartles and Jaymes to the party if they brought Wine Coolers... and Bubbliscious bubble gum tasted like mint chocolate chip ice cream.
I miss the women and the good times..... I could stay out late.... when the street lights came on it was time to go home. The friendly atmosphere and no political correctness!!! Most of all I remember my parents being together and my dad was in the best shape of his life and alive. I wish I could find where doc Brown hid the time machine!!! I wanna go back and stay!!!

A friend of mine actually bought and restored a Dodge Wraith this past spring. From what I remember, they were the vipers of the eighties.
