When low budget 80s movies, have more epic and memorable music, than multimillion productions nowadays.
That is so true, we had alot more real artists then. Today most are cookie cutter artists though some good ones do exist
you are not wrong at all. movies have become franchise assembly lines now.
🔥🔥🔥
80's and 90's soundtracks are still the best !! sounds so fresh and new still
Where did we go wrong?😑

The car that murdered people is now parked at big Kay's. What a gift for it bro. A car wanted state wide
My dad passed away yesterday he showed me this movie when I was just a little kid and I’ve loved the movie and music ever since this song will always make me think of the good times I had with my dad
Sorry for your loss. This movie always meant a lot to me. I watched this so much on HBO as a kid I eventually got my grandmother to record it on a blank VHS tape in 1990. The tape got so worn out over the years it eventually became unwatchable in 2002. I kept trying to find it on DVD for years and eventually found it at Best Buy for $18 in 2004. Of course now you can easily find it in any bargain bin for $3-$5 and it’s always on Tubi, UA-cam, and Pluto Tv for free. My son has watched it with me a few times but it didn’t leave nearly the same impression but my wife loved it and still doesn’t believe the Interceptor was a Dodge lol. The movie got me interested in cars and I started working on my own cars at 16. I’m 38 now and been an automotive technician for a living the last 10 years. Movie and that car will always hold a special place in my heart.
My son past away on his motorcycle accident April 30,2015 this was his favorite song and movie since he was 6. He was 19 when he passed away. I listen to it everyday
christalene hance Sorry to hear that. Sounds like he was a great son.
+christalene hance sorry to hear about your son, you have my prayers and wishes. this was one of my favorite music to
+christalene hance I seen your video it was nice...your son seemed like a cool kid. I can tell though for sure his taste in music rocked lol..Im 30 now ive loved this song and movie since i was a little kid as well..

The 80's, what a Golden Age for movie soundtracks
...the wraith,the heavenly kid,footloose,body rock,breakdance 1 and 2,beat street,short circuit,flight of the navigator....all of them are a must!!!
Yes
So true
..80's and 90's movie soundtracks are still the best
The Classic songs of the 80's were the best songs in the world and there's nothing that can compare to them except for probably Michael Jackson
I feel sorry for the ones who never visited that planet called the 80s..
It was cool til you got in trouble. Every decade has it's ups and downs. Many more things are better now. That's why they have to make up issues because, most have been beaten. The 80's had real issues to fight.
@@coreym162What....?.
@@Deleted268-k7j You wouldn't understand
Say what you want about the movie but it seriously has one of the greatest soundtracks ever...
Marek Lilleleht agreed
How could you even talk bad about this movie it had the perfect cast
I personally consider it one of my favorite movies. Doesn't seem to be everyone's taste, though.
I agree 100% Have it on CD sound is mind blowing as well . Teen Wolf another Great Soundtrack one of my favs as well..
I hope what you wanted to say about the movie was how fuckin' rad it was.
Fucking 80's man, nothing better.
2023 and this song is still on rotation for me!
This is a must play while cruising in your ride or bike on a summer sunset.
I actually still have an 86 Daytona Turbo Z lol. White, just like in the beginning of the movie. Car is being worked on for YEARS and when done, she should run 12sec , high 11's
FUCK YEAH MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
charlie sheen rules !!
I listen to it when I’m doing intense training. Gives a great push 👊🏻💪🏽❤️
These tracks best describe that feeling of desire in the pit of your stomach when you're striving for the future you want. It's like a generation forgot that feeling its passion.
True, man. It's a song for more innocent times. Today's society seems to be overloaded with cynicism. A little bit of cynicism is ok, it might even be desirable to help you navigate through the realities of life, but too much of it can be toxic. And it actually is.
Nicely put
@@JavierBF_NBA Im 22 years old. This generation has lots of toxic influences and mental problems. I don't see this 'drive' or 'passion' in others my age. Maybe thats why i love 80s movies and song, idk
That's a pretty good description of how the music and even films gripped your soul.... Tons of emotion, feeling, and passion. And yeah, I don't think it'll ever be repeated. People will definitely try to repeat it but the atmosphere is gone now and those who weren't there to live it will never quite understand.
I hear songs like this and it makes me think "Fuck it Everybody, shall we all just get together and take the world back to the 80`s?!"
Sounds good to me!
My god was everything better then. Even the pussy tasted better.
I think that too, then I remember the whole planet was on the verge of an apocalyptic meltdown that makes what we're dealing with now look like child's play.
yes yes Excellent observation!
@@danacaldwell5388 women were classier and sexier in the 80's as well..

Just finished watching it great movie classic 💯
@@madmaxxxthen30-rwofficialm23 LMAO, MTV didn't start the movie awards show until 92'. It would have taken a Delorean with a flux capacitor to make that happen 🤣
The Wraith really feels like a fever dream, if not for this song I'd start to doubt if it was even a real movie.
My number one favorite Charlie sheen movie of all time
MAN I LOVE THE 80's
2017 Still watching this movie today. This song makes me happy and tearful at the same time. 37 yrs old and thankful I grew up in the 80's and 90's. Best music, movies, fashion. Best time ever. If only I had a Delorean to travel back.

I'm 22 now (born in '96) and i wish i was born 20 years earlier so I can live my 20s in 1990s
@@DusanStev996 Me too ! I'm 21 and I'm very dissapointed about current times, people nowadays are so retarded and boring like they don't have a spirit, movies are garbage, as well as music is pornography. My dream is to be teen in 80's, where were great cars, great music, great parties, great people and great movies.
trust, me, you would miss the internet alot :D i agree that a lot was better in the 80s and 90s. but it wasnt all sunshine and rainbows. we had problems back then too and i dont wanna miss certain things we have today. what i really miss about the mid 80s and 90 is the mentality and the culture.
@@dharkbizkit exactly ! mentality and culture is the most important things that i've missed. My dad told me that people in the 80's and 90's were more sincere and had a spirit so to say.
Finally saw The Wraith and goddamn it has one of the best soundtracks in history. A hidden gem in my opinion cause no one has every spoke about it.
This movie is the forgotten 80s classic. All hail the Wraith!
@Aron Maslan so did he have superpowers or was it the car?
Just goes to show you can find great music in the most unexpected of places
Long Live 80's Music
absolutely
That was also one of the reasons why movies of the 80s are so cool because they often had cool soundtracks like this one from The Wraith 😎
Here watching The Wraith in 2024 wishing they still made movies like this.

The films of the 80s not only lived through their actors and story...they had a really good soundtrack. No matter whether it was films or cartoons...they were emotionally filled songs that always remind you. Whether it was the first kiss, the first roller skating ride, or his graduation.

I love my family. My dogs. Cats. My town. I love the seasons, each with their own colors, scent, and healing power. But driving on a lonesome highway is a whole different bliss. There’s just you, your rig, and the road. Everything else fades away. Nothing else matters except the freedom of speed igniting and growing the fire in your soul. 🔥
