This is mind blowingly good -- Stevie's original composition, Rachel's playing and the sound of the gear too.
We thought so too!!! The playing and gear- It would be epic if we could have Rachel demo all of our stuff!!
She's got an interesting feel for playing. And the sound my god...new equipment dreams it could sound like this vintage stuff. Thumbs up.
Agreed!
Rachel s playing is always super precise tasteful and so so musical!!
Just wow!!😮 Rachel Flowers - you are a one-in-a-million player!! I have never seen such accuracy and precision and so effortless.
once again outstanding...Rachel &
know from your smile & giggles you were enjoy playing this
oldie but goodie... oxox
I got that too. She's sure got that Stevie grin goin' on! Oh yeah!
Amazing perfprmance! But the sound is what really caught me. I can't believe I never thought of clavinet with a wah-wah effect
Not just a normal foot pedal Wah-Wah.
This is actually the sound of a Mutron, an autofilter.
It sweeps the wha sound, depending on how loud the incoming signal is.
So it has a characteristic quacking sound, with each note.
Jerry Garcia, of the Grateful Dead, was famous for his autofilter guitar leads.
I never thought of this before either, and now am going to give it a try 🙂
🎶🌎☮
That's rhythm right there. The vast majority of people I've heard on keys don't have half the rhythm or dynamics as Rachel.
Dude, don't ya know that it's 2023, compression has long overtaken dynamics!!!!
That is on you... get out more.
What a groove.
Channeling Kerry Minnear... great stuff.
AND she plays the flute, violin, guitar, bass equally well.
Awesome stuff as always guys!
She's nailed every synth keys wizard part that's out there...
That left hand!!!
Absolutely right. It is so fluid and spot on funk. She is a wonder.
I noticed the Clavinet's cousin, the good ole' Planet lmao
Sounds so good, she plays so well ❤
Have to try a autofilter on my Clavinet tonight.
Happy Trails 🎶🌎☮
Good left hand. Essential on the Clavinet.
Never lets it go for a second
AMAZING !!!! ❤
Fabulous.
Genius.
I think the one dislike might have been a jealous Stevie fan
Why would anyone be jealous
Com toda cegueira dela, ela tem baita talento
The keys on this model are reverse Colored exactally like alot of older Keyboard instruments including the Clavichord. The Clavinet is a solid body Electric Clavichord that plugs into an amp & it has pickups that amplify the string sound.
My ARP 2500 has those reverse colors, too.
Cool
Git it Rachel!
Those new Mutron III's sound awfully good and made by the same guy that invented them.
How can you not love Rachel Flowers? Somebody actually disliked this?
We thought the same, I guess some folks just can't hear the talent or the tone!
Haha, trying to find the sweet spot of the mutton
Is that stevie wonder's lick? Sounds so familiar
pretty sure it's higher ground by stevie, I vividly remember the "people keep on trying" round the minute mark
That one guy's fly is unzipped.
you would die laughing if we told you who that was!!! :)

I still don't know what a mutron is but it was amazing. Very cool.
The Mutron III is an envelope follower/auto wah, also the gold standard in the flavor of effect too- really hard to beat it.. Mu3 is a Completely optical circuit thats very expressive- killer sounding units.
Made by Musitronics back in the 1970's, they primarily made phasers, envelope followers, wahs, had an octave pedal too
@@RetrolinearAudio I see. Thanks.
@@PaulTheSkeptic No problemo ;)
Mutron? Do you see the silver and blue box about 18 inches from Rachel's left hand? (I'm talking about the box that sits on top of the walnut organ. It also has 3 black control knobs on it.) Well, that's a Mutron III. It is a sound effects processor made from 1972-1981 that was mainly used to create funky bass sounds. In addition to keyboards, you can also use it on bass guitars and electric guitars. It was first made by Musitronics (hence it's name Mu-tron) and later by ARP instruments. Production stopped around 1981 when ARP when bankrupt. The original inventer, Mike Beigel, is now making a new version of the Mutron III and it sounds excellent.
@@edcollins9377 I see. It's kind of like an envelope filter effect? Definitely sounds cool on a clavinet.
Now thats jammin at its best...better than Stevie....more organized....cooler...jam on girl.
Funky
What is that instrument across from her, the wooden thing?
Hohner Clavinet I
She's playing a Clavinet. I think that's a cheap organ on the other side of her. Nice Minimoog to her left.
Stevie Wonder needs to meet this lady.

@@RachelFlowersMusic That's amazing. Stevie is supposed to be undergoing a kidney transplant this month. Let's hope his health perseveres. Congratulations on getting to meet another legend.
which Mutron?
Mutron III envelope filter, pre-arp version.
Как она играет на этом инструменте?
Рэйчел - гений. Посмотрите ее документальный фильм.
She needed a microphone....
