Andrzej and Michal are two young teenagers who come together every summer in the small tourist village ‘Siemiany’ on the countryside. Their friendship has grown into years of great memories. And the boredom of the countryside and the feeling of unity amongst the boys, takes their friendship to a new level of sexually loaded intimacy.

When you live in a small village, you always have to fit in so that you don't stand out because you are different.
I hope for the boy's sake that he finds his way out of this hopeless area and can be whoever he wants to be and, above all, free.
But I think Poland is the completely wrong place for that!

Great film. The kids are not bad kids they have no money and nothing to look forward to. The boy in the soccer jersey needs to find a way out even if he walks and finds a sugar daddy.

Blunt, banal, menacing, vivacious,, atmospheric. Great non-diagetic sound. Strange, but somehow quite beautiful. Thanks!

The LGBT element is there, but it's very, very subtle. Which I like.
In the beginning we have a scene where Michal tells Andrzej that he has a hard-on because he thinks of Agniezska's tits. Andrzej says that she doesn't have any and Michal says that he obviously hasn't noticed that they've grown. Now think about it: the two are close friends and they hang with Agniezska all the time. Why didn't Andrzej notice the change? Because he's not interested in her tits. He's interested in his friend.
Michal senses that. When Andrzej says that he has a hard-on, Michal gets really angry and stresses that when he has a hard-on, he thinks of Agniezska, not of him. Why does he stress that? In the scene immediately afterwards, he goes to the girl where he opens up. He gives up the hard, cursing, manly outside version and he very timidly, very vulnerably asks the girl to see her lady parts - and she is happy to oblige, but you see that he feels uncomfortable. When she shows him her tits, he seems disinterested. Not like a boy who enjoys seeing tits. So there is the suggestion that Michal is in fact gay as well.
When Andrzej sees that and sees his friend's reaction, he gets scared and runs. Because he knows that in that homophobic atmosphere, that whole situation can lead to no good.
Misleading to call this an LGBTQ film. The behaviour of the girls and the older boys were mostly inappropriate and bad role models for Andrzej and Michal who are too young for any hanky panky. But kids will be kids.

I don't f*ck1ng understand any of this short. I am very confused about the outcome. I liked the child actors but I still can't understand the message of this short. Why did he run away in the end? Why he made this expression at 15:44 like he was scared and the friend looking through the door didn't say anything. I entered with curiosity and I am leaving indignant...
He had a crush on him and seeing him with his sister messed with him.
