« C’est encore un peu mon bateau » lance Kito avec émotion en arrivant dans le hangar où l’IMOCA MS Amlin termine son chantier d’hiver. Et de l’émotion, il y en a chez l’Occitan quand il parle de la conception en 2006 et de ses navigations avec ce bateau léger et taillé pour la course à bord duquel il a couru jusqu’en 2014. Il y en a aussi chez le Néo-zélandais qui se remémore à quel point Kito l’a inspiré dans ses plus jeunes années.

"It's still a bit my boat," says Kito with emotion as he arrives in the shed where the IMOCA MS Amlin is finishing her winter refit. Plenty of emotion in the Occitan indeed when he talks about the design in 2006 and his sailing with this light boat built for racing, aboard which he raced until 2014. The New Zealander also recalls how Kito inspired him when he was younger.
