Andre seems like a sincere fella. No surprise you two enjoy running into each other at these events.
Fresh out the hospital from a heart attack and now he’s cranking out 8 videos a day. 😃 God bless you JD!
Gotta pay that doctor bill 😂
Really!!! Wow so glad he's doing ok
Vaxx!ne
I like your channel because it touches on the end user aspect of trailers!! TFL is good because of their real world MPG tests I love those
Add air suspension cab and seats. Drive 100,000 plus miles a year, these trucks kill your back.
So do you drive a limited 🤔 cause my lariat seats are not near as comfortable as the limited but are way better then the xl
Love the respect you have for each other. Two of the best channels out there.
For me, this is the truck dreams are made of.
I'm not big on the new front end design from a looks standpoint, but I've always preferred function over form.
Yeah it'll grow on us, I'm starting to like it more, the steering wheel and shifter look a little 'soft' but I'm sure it'll grow more into my liking haha
I'm the opposite, I hated the last design and think the new grill and small body changes look so much better. The old design reminded me of a something made from an erector set. It's also time everyone admitted GM won the step and tailgate wars and just copied theirs. This redesign has a good chance to switch me over to getting an F250.
Wow, I drive some 60k plus miles per year and I would love this interior for sure! 🎉
I waited 17 months for my 22 F450 Limited from date of order on April 7th 21 until Sept 17th 22 and then...they released these beasts sheesh lol
Ha! Don't feel so bad...I've got a '21 350 Lariat. I like the new front end and the interior, but in the end they're really just the same truck...unless you covet all those gadgets and do-dads.
I like your channel because it touches on the end user aspect of trailers!!
I hope you collab with TFL Truck. I also hope you are feeling better, JD!
Thank you for doing this video for us .I for one will be get a 350 limited after seeing that beautiful interior along with my 350 KR , keep up the great videos !
Great review as always thank you
I love my 2017 F-450 STX but jeez... this thing in an F450 is going to cost more than my house... Well there is always the lottery! Awesome thanks for sharing! 🤠
I have the 17’ f250stx. Really happy with it’s well. Also wish I could afford this beast here. Maybe one day
Just built a 450 Limited on their website. Came in at almost $107k. It had almost every option already on it standard
Just went to my local dealer to order the F250 or F350 Limited.
Looks like I may be able to order one in January & expect delivery in July or August.
Gotta love the new way of doing things🤦🏻♂️
Really love the Limited the Limited has always been my personal favorite even though I drove a 2014 f150 limited in high school it was still a top of the line luxury truck even though it didn't have any of this here it's even better on the super duties. King Ranch and Limited all the way for my top favorite super duty trims.
No Blue Cruise on the Super Duty? Interesting. Also, I have a 2022 F150 Limited on order and my Max reclining and massaging seats were removed from my order by Ford without notifying me. I am assuming the same will happen with this trim which is really a shame. The Limited trim should be put on the shelf until they can build it as advertised.
I love the air dam. Now let’s get air springs!
"Beam me up Scotty!" Wow what an Amazing Limited Edition!
I ordered 2 2022 King Ranch with ultimate package this past year and Ford removed the Contour seats which was the number one thing I wanted - Dealer sold to someone else because it was not what I ordered. Hopefully when I order a 2023 KR they won't delete the things I want this time
I like how Dave said he still has a 2002 Superduty. These trucks last forever if you take care of them and always do the normal maintenance.
Any discussion of adding air suspension like ram?
So happy to see that you are doing well. God Bless you JD
I’d absolutely love to have one. In no way could I afford to actually buy one, but man they are awesome!
True that!! I'm head over heels and of course I want the limited!! Nope, still driving my 2011 RAM 3500 4x4 diesel. It sure has done the job (even for my 5th wheel across 7.5 miles of unplanned 4 wheel drive in the snow!!) but the seats are truly horrible when driving 1K+ in 24 hrs! The tailgate camera and side steps would be incredible for me. I use a gooseneck for my 5th wheel and that camera would save me so many little steps!! I tow alone most times so no spotter!! Love this rig!
Don’t feel bad 90% of Americans can’t afford to buy one of these luxury trucks. No wonder used truck prices are so high. I personally don’t like all the electronics at all more to go wrong. I like my 2006 & 2012 trucks.
@@Brandon68plus1 I agree that its getting to a point that they are making trucks only for the wealthy these days. But I do think that the camera on top of the tailgate was long overdue. Just for the safety aspect of it I think it’s great. Maybe when these trucks are about 10 years old they’ll be affordable!
Great introduction and coverage of the new Superduties JD. Not sure why the designers thought 'baby blue' would be the best option for a truck show. Plus while the grill is definitely more open to airflow it looks hideous. LOL Crazy how the manufactures keep increasing all the power and payload capacity but put so little effort into efficiency. With this insane push for nearly everything to be EV now, the engineers should also continue to push their limits for all types vehicles. Definitely not a fan of any of the driver assisted features, I prefer to be in control of my vehicle and forced to remain alert. Great point about upgrading the radios. Currently driving a 2013 F350 DRW lariat and the lack of upgrade options is extremely irritating. The system still sounds good, but the apps are sluggish and often locks into or out of a mode that can only be correct by disconnecting the batteries.
Wow. Wish I could pick one up at a dealership but Fords goal is to make these special order only and keep the price at $100,000+.
very good video BTBR
I was excited to try the new Lincoln Navigator seats when it came out. I finally sat in one and found them to be very uncomfortable. Just my opinion. Hope these seats are much better.
Andre cameo, nice!
I believe that color is darn close to primer gray.
Please ask about the exhaust brake if it's been improved.
JD you are crank it out the content. The new Ford super duty is a awesome platform.
Waiting for “the first 200k” super duty
Good Job JD, As you know , lets see the F550 and if any changes.........LOL
TFL and Big Truck Big RV; Love both channels. Love my 22 F350 SRW my main concern is the cost of the tech for the new one that will drive the price up 3-5k
Unfortunately, the "Big 3" manufactures don't care that most people can't afford these new rigs. They know they have a nearly endless list of rich clients who write these trucks off as a business expense. They could charge $150k for their new F450's and people in the horse world in California or the gas and oil business in Texas wouldn't hesitate a bit. These are people who also own $200k Porsches and $180k Mercedes....The current truck market revolves around rich people.
Any body else wish it came with 7kw generator the power boost has
This is the only place I can find mention with photos of the black appearance package for 2023…my dealer told me they’re not doing anymore….
❤❤❤Awesome Vehicle. Unbelievable!
Currently have a 2019 F350 Lariat crew cab and just clocked 36k miles. I was fortunate to buy before the insane prices hit.. tax, tag, title out the door was 51k. I couldn't fathom paying $100k + for this truck.
Ordering limited 24 today 😅
Just curious if those fancy LED headlights are self-leveling...? As I'm towing heavy and melting windshields of oncoming traffic.
Was tossing up whether to buy an F250 here in Australia, there are certainly more and more of them on our roads here. Starting price for an F250, not this model obviously, was AUD198000, which at this morning's exchange rate is approx USD125000, better places for money I ended up reckoning when coupled with the amount of use of the vehicle. On the sell side though, demand is strong in Aus, a guy I worked with bought a 22 year old F350 a couple of years back for AUD20000, has been offered AUD70000 and has done nothing to it. Maybe you talk about it somewhere, have only just found this channel, but interested in the fuel burns of these vehicles, especially diesel, as Aussies like their diesel. Wholesale diesel prices this morning in Aus approaching a 50 cent premium to unleaded petrol, wholesale numbers being today around the AUD2.30, (USD1.44 per litre, or USD5.46 per US gallon), (numbers quoted at exchange rate current 6:35am 13/10/2022) ex port zones, which with freight and margin added will approach AUD2.50 per litre, (USD1.57 per litre or USD5.94 per US gallon). Those numbers will of course increase as you range further away from the port zones and will be 20% higher at the extremes. Fuel is really starting to matter.
Awesome channel, my question is about what happens to the 40,000 2022 heavy duty Fords that are being stored at Kentucky Motor Speedway that can’t be sold without chips.
Crazy times, probably trouble actually getting a 2023 heavy duty.
I’d avoid buying one for this reason. Lot rot.
Andre knows the least of all
I work where we build the ford truck frames the new metal they use is no joke it’s very beefy I can’t say what metal they used just know they are crazy tough
I miss the brochures. It was always a quick and complete way to compare trims and options. I hate having to go to the build tool and hope there's "tool tips" to explain what an option is. Also, I'm wanting to compare without always looking at a screen. Hope Ford brings them back, even if only in PDF form.
I will definitely be ordering a f-450 king ranch or higher
When these cost as much as my house did, I’ll stick to my 03 super duty 😂
It costs twice as much as the condo I've been living in that I bought 30 years ago.
Only thing I’m not digging are the headlights. Other than that, truck looks awesome!
My only ding on this is no cooled rear seats. I believe GM added that for the 2024 and ram will probably when it’s fully updated so it feels like a missed opportunity
Yeah it'd be so easy to route AC ducting to the rear seats, it's definitely a missed opportunity.
A Ram limited should already have them, my 2019 does.
Work truck not made to haul asses all day
Was always curious, Gear shift on the super duties is on the steering column. F150 was in the centre console. Why is this?
JD, will black appearance package be available on all trims?
A good collaboration to see would be you running your 17 f450 up the ike vs. The 2023 f450 towing 30k. Then compare to the 23 chev and ram. This would allow us to see improvement.
Okay, now guys tell Ford this. Oh and since your there what'up love your channel.
So now the Mustang has the Dark Horse. We should get an F250 War Horse Edition. With that 6.7 HO.
I wish Ford had an option to obtain a Limited, but subtract features. I am unfortunately too tall to fit in one of their trucks with a dual-pane sunroof, so it's a Platinum for me!
Does the Tremor come in the Limited Trim for 2023?
The title is hilarious
That color needed Ford’s classic two-tone paint.
How about offering the extended cab in the limited edition
I’m happy that ford finally gave the black appearance package to the xlt as I am on a budget and this was the truck I was going for, so I hope can my hands on one soon enough
Well….way to much tech in this, but good thing, this is the high roller version I won’t ever have to worry about owning. Lol
28 Camera Views & The USA DOT still require mirrors on vehicles.
Can you get the Tremor package with this Limited trim?
I need either a f350 dually with the f450 turning radius. With 6wd. I want everything. Don't need a sunroof. They have a tendency to leak. I'm going to be driving cross country. With a woman who is maybe 5'3" tall. She's going to learn to drive it.
Really like the 2023 upgrades but how can they produce these with thousands of 2022s sitting incomplete?
Any talk on air suspension?
The quilted leather idea they took from the 2nd gen tundra platinum. I know cause i have one.
Originally appeared on Bentley first.
@@jeffmiller3150 yeah does not make TRUCKS. We are talking about TRUCKS
16:00 Didn't see a Tremor package listed, hope there is one still for the XLT or Lariat, was going to be what I ordered :S
It was on his last utube clip
Yes, on TFL they show the tremor and mention it is available for XLT as well. They stated it is their most popular set up.
“Turning radius” Did they fix the turning radius to match the F450
Someone needs to make dash cams part of the system
column shifter? highest trim?
Can you get a 7.3 ltr in a limited . In the past you could only get a 6.7. Thank you. Jeff.
what is FORD doing with the thousands of Super Duty's that are setting in lots waiting for computer chips? the dealerships around here haven't had a new truck on the lot in two years.
Damn. Sweet rig.
Limited and platinum are having identical front front grille?
I heard the attention on the seat was so you would have a place to sleep after you cant make your house payment because you bought '23 super duty.
Is Ford going to be able to build enough trucks that they can finalize to meet demand?
When are 2023's available?
Great video and FORD does listen. I have a 2017 diesel 350 limited that has all of the options. My problem with the truck that has been great for me is if a vehicle is next to me all i get is a little light on the mirror and if i put on my turn signal there is no beep or anything to let me know a car is next to me. Has this changed on the 2023?
Tailgate up feature ???
Now offer this in a chassis cab configuration and I'll be a happy camper.. (Dodge/Ram has been doing it for awhile now.. >_> )
Does the Limited have massage seats ?
Did hear you correctly in another one of your videos that the 7.3 is now getting a 10R140, same as the diesel?
The 7.3 has only been available with the 10r140.
@@mustangman4291980 The 7.3 has less parts. The diesel has 3 bearings( I think that’s what it is and 7.3 has two) I had a 2020 7.3 Tremor and the trans was different between the 7.3 and diesel.
Interior!
Did Ford Upgreade the quality of the Cameras? Cameras are great but if they are so pixelated and blurry they are not much help.
Why does the front end look like the old chevy box vans
Pavement Princess
Still can't get my death wobble fixed from Ford. Ford refuses to fix it (2019 with recall). Horrible dealerships nearby. Wonder if these are problems on these trucks?
One thing that puzzles me is that Ford already has thousands of trucks that they can't complete due to shortage issues. What's going to be done with them? We got all this hype on a brand new, redesigned truck and where are these parts coming from? Just curious.
So many reports F trucks has oil leaks less than 2000 miles
Where is a Ram booth?
Eat that dodge!
A primer grey limited.
For the price it needs to include a butler
what they should be doing is lobbing the gov to make it so everyone can drive these trucks with the higher gvws on class d licenses and with out extra inspection fees .
a 1 ton today is like what a medium duty was years past but just on a smaller body
Wow, this is very nice I might have to sell my 22 3500 ram to get the 2023 Ford 3500, don't tell the other ram guys though I would love to see the towing specs on the new Ford 3500.
Ford don't have and never had a 3500 but a f350 they do.
No Blue Cruise, come on ford. $100k plus and no feature carry over from the half ton?
What motor would you go with (for towing) giving the choice JD?
Ford has had some supply issues, but I think they'll get thru it. Too bad their stock is such a hot potato.
Not seeing cab lights, so it's not the best of the best.
Staring price 100k Hahahaha
