  • Once Human is an SCP-inspired multiplayer open-world survival game, where teams of players use firearms and supernatural abilities to survive against the unknowable and powerful Aberrant creatures that threaten the last remnants of mankind. Players must band together to unite survivors, rebuild the territory, and uncover the mysteries of their enemies, or risk destruction.

    Can you discuss & explore a Scar/Sniper build? Greatly appreciated.

      I'll look into that. I was a bit anyway, yet I didn't know a weapon damage based power surge build, because I believe there is one in the mix. I'll have many builds posted and maybe some build theory too if I don't get the items.

      I did a build around this using the Scar and Crumble which also benefits from Psi/Status enhancing build. It can be a fairly strong build low to mid-range, but as the enemies gain PSI shielding the Sniper Rifle can start to lag behind going from one hit wonders to fairly strong hits that just don't quite kill anymore. The main reason for this is that the enemies start to out level you towards endgame, with some places having lvl 54-60 range enemies while the player is capped at lvl 50 and sniper rifles really benefit from the Weak spot+ mods to stay stronger towards the end.
      I would say if you are dead-set on using Sniper rifle you might want to try Gulp/Kuma wink and go for a weak spot/bounce/crit/crit dmg build as they compliment one another due to the fact the build can have up to ~50% crit/100% Crit Dmg +2 bounce, +20% bounce DMG, +Bounce targets Weak spot, and +25% weak spot damage if I remember the stats right. Might also have +Bounce activation in there too, but I'd have to be able to look at the build again. Both guns come from the same wish machine option too I believe.
      Tried a few builds so far, but currently the Scar is one of the strongest for single target attacks. Multiple targets seem to favor a Bounce Build with legendary mods that turn bounce trigger hits into weak spot strikes, but require a significantly different gear build from Scar. One that favors +Bounce/+bounce Damage%/+Bounce hits weak spot over building a Crit/Crit dmg/Psi/Status build making it impossible to use both effectively at max damage and instead seeking a balance if going this route.
      Can't say I have been lucky enough to get the Power Surge shotgun yet, but that looks like a good build if able to get it for sure.

    i'm currenly running with crank+bbq Gloves, Falcon set and Heavy Helmet. No perfect Mods but i have the ones neccesary. Only reaching 11k (rolling, full empty magazine). Maybe it's the time for a change, since i only need to change is helmet and Gloves. ¿You think is better power surge (Scar, cuz, RNG things) than fire (crank)?

      Power surge with high activation rate is really solid. Crank I find is really solid as well. Especially if you build hybridized, or more towards gun damage. I've seen some impressive numbers. I want to play with crank and boom boom IF I get lucky enough to find it. I will have quite a few build guides coming out next week I have a feeling as we start getting towards the late phases of the beta.

    Im doing around the same damage but running mostly weapon damage and weakspot damage mods, i can hit up to 2000 with all my buffs active, and dont have my armor calbrated yet. Just using 4x agent, 1x heavy armor, and the gold helmet that offers hp %. I havent gotten lucky with armor bps yet.
    Also if you havent already you need to get the gold mods that offer stability, it will turn your gun into a laser.

      I REALLY want to do a weapon damage version with my hood with mask. Since I think that'd be bonkers. Yet I need the mods, I swept through and deleted all my weapon damage/weakspot damage mods. I should of thought ahead!
      Glad to hear the build plays nice, I can't wait to dig into it. Also, I remember you talking about greenhouses in the game would be sweet, and it looks like they are in, yet we can't unlock it yet! So us gardeners have something to look forward to!

    I just hate that the last boss goes immune to status damage. Built an awesome burn build with crank but after first bar he is immune

      I had the same Problem. My Burnout build is rly strong but useless after the first Phase against the forsaken boss. So i switched back to my Power surge build and take so much weakspot dmg as i can

      I tried crank as well, to see if my psi intensity would work there, and it didn't. And crank just has weak per hit damage, which makes the fight really hard, I feel burn is probably a better built build than most anything when you get all the pieces, as well. Which makes the whole thing sad.

    Would you still be using the scar outsider if you had the Mp7 outer space?

      That's a good question, and I think the answer would be No, I wouldn't. SMGs are for rapid procs, sure, yet Scar has some really immense weapon damage without building for it. Scar as a base gun is wonderful. I won't have a perfect answer until I have the gun though, of course. Is the OuterSpace bad, no, just I don't think it's as effective when paired without the scar.

    I'm half expecting the powersurge to get the same treatment that Sharpnel did from prior beta. It used to be a fairly strong build last beta and now it is kinda meh in comparison. This can be insanely strong when you get around it right, but the drawback is some boss can glitch causing the elemental damage to become immune to it which is just annoying.

      Maybe, yet I've seen a crank build shred very similarly to this. They did nerf it by moving the Mayfly goggle gear type too. Most builds can be built very well, yet it's not the easiest thing to do at all! Or getting lucky enough to do even.

    Why did you say you would use the camo boots with the aa12, where are you getting the bullseye proc from?

      I didn't express that well enough, looking back on it. It could be maining the shotgun with a recurve crossbow shot, or Mr. Wish's active deviant ability for a burst window, or another player.. It's just a neat interaction. My group of friends were trying to figure out a 100% bullseye build, to then allow others to do exponentially more damage. Otherwise, recurve crossbow. I have feeling that will be Best in Slot for an Ice Vortex build as well, if using Icy Rain.

      @@Xelray yeah I thought that might be the case Iv been using the crossbow with my scar for the same effect but I it’s more of a hindrance for some bosses with weak spots if you miss or they have weird hit boxes, I tend to try and do one at the start and depending how that fist hit goes either carry on or just blast the scar the whole time, good video though my build is pretty similar, your right about the cradle buffs, I was thinking about maybe trying to get a bounce secondary with some bounce pants to maybe clear aoe abit quicker but Iv also got the frost vortex vector that I like the look of

    do you remember where you got your purple Elemental Overload? i have a blue one, but its a totally different name?

      I know it's glove only on purple. Blue is all armor. That threw me off quite a bit early on. They drop specifically not sure, yet they drop all over the place I find. I'll get a farm list for sure at some point, just waiting for hard modes to figure that out. I was going to upload a chest run soon, so if you are not having anything better to do, you can usually get 2 legendary mods, 4-5 purple mods, and a slew of blues in not much time, 20ish minutes, maybe up to 30 if you go to some extra spots.

      Silo Sigma (Hard Mode) the Lieutant Boss drops Elemental Overload. Needs maybe more then 1 Run to get it.

      That would be pretty fun actually. It's well rounded right now, but a few more options would be really something, especially mixing it up every season. I'll have to look into that.

      They are unfortunately RNG. However, I am hoping that hard modes can be target farmed for specific mods, so you can get multiple versions by spending controllers.

      @@NyxMei I actually am looking to build as many builds as I can, so I prefer having more guns and options, rather than diving in deep and getting stuck. Yet if you are only interested in power surge, weapon damage still doesn't matter, because it can't affect psi intensity. Now, starring the armor pieces you have, makes a big difference for psi intensity on the other hand.

    Weakspot mods are the key to fight the forsaken boss. So elemental overloard not rly good mods. Take mods to buff ur weakspot dmg.

      True, This build was mainly a crit build. And since I built everything for Psi Intensity in my build, I kept a bit of what I could simply for the arbiter ads, which frankly, are more dangerous than the boss it feels. If I knew the boss was immune intentionally beforehand, I might of changed my thought process though!

    I got the golden mp7 and the same shotgun but mine never reached even 60k damage but yours is doing more than 80k😢 I need to know how can I become that strong

      @@chhandoroy4373 I'll be working on a shrapnel build here soon I think. Yet for Power surge(rifle build)
      Mayfly goggles, 4 piece falcon, one piece anything you want. Weapon mod is shock rampage with a preferred attribute of power surge trigger chance, mask is thunderclap with preferred trigger chance as well, Head mod - deviation expert for rifle, chest and legs, blue status damage mod, gloves - elemental overload, shoes - covered advance or slow and steady. Attribute ratings are best to worst, status damage/elemental damage, weapon dmg/weakspot dmg, magazine size, reload speed, HP.

    Drop thinderclap.
    Go gas mask, and crit damage stack mod.
    Thunderclap doesnt proc very often. Pretty bad putside aoe.

      I did mess around with gasmask and crit mods, and I found it wasn't making up the difference over the long haul because I had shots that didn't proc power surge. Maybe I need a better weapon mod with higher activation chance to make that work. I was down on average about 1-2k dps. Yet some parses were way higher, they weren't the average.
      I haven't been min maxing, instead I've been just getting builds together to see how many potentials there can be! I'll head back in a while if I have time and mess around with it.

      18 weapon calibrate + 14 gloves CC mod = 32% crit chance
      Start fight with Hunters Mark for +20% crit chance I belive (IIRC). So 52%. Can get like 2-3 Clips depending on reload speed before it runs out.
      And you still got Helm effects once you get a proc 40%. All that crit is gurenteed Shocks. I mean 92% crit chance? And even when Hunters where's off, finishing a clip off, you still have like 72% crit chance.
      I don't have the mask to test for sure. But overall. The 400s ypu get from shock don't seem like they'd be higher then straight crit damage. And bosses that ur able to use shotty. All ur shocks crit, and if ypu have a lot of crit chance. Man....
      One thing I'd love to see is if you have maxed Accuracy on shotty, can ypu make it more of a ranged weapon. Just take a -on stability.

      @@dangeloenglish4284 On the shotgun, it hits hard with shock, to the point now it crits for 7k or so, yet it's not once, it's twice. And mayfly goggles do bring that number down by 20%, yet they double it. So it's 160% raw damage with good chance to crit, rather than 100% damage with a 100% or close to it chance. Also, the trigger chance goes down, which pushes the chance of shock down, which instead of it always hitting, it hits most of the time, so if I miss a shock, my damage is way down.
      You are absolutely correct that thunderclap is a low total damage%, probably lower than the shotgun's raw damage. Yet you can get trigger chance, and that makes all the difference. I was even thinking of taking shock chance off the weapon, and adding shock damage because you can get up to 40% trigger chance from attributes.
      It's all a balancing game. The gas mask is an awesome mask, and I'm curious where exactly it best fits, I think it'd be with a gun damage build personally. Yet, with my not doing weakspot damage for extra crit already, that wouldn't make sense. Yet with a few number tweaks, who knows what's on top?

    5:04 - "your powerhouse weapon" lol... assuming everyone got lucky like you with the stupid RNG system in this game

      I did get it two days ago, before I had it, I solo'd the lv60 boss. And that spurred the video. However, It's about 15-20% stronger than the Outsider, so it's not crazy. Definitely not needed. It's more for mobs from the high single hit damage.

      @@Xelray - I'm just bitter. I hate the gatcha blueprint system. I hate when player power is gated behind RNG. Having both blueprints and mods behind RNG is terrible game design. I used all my resonance and got all trash. I crafted and leveled like 10 weapons and the Scar was still the best. Utter bullshit IMO. #FeelsBad... And ya, I saw your solo run where you bugged the boss twice lol

      It isn't the best design. I think that each pull should give you a point of currency. Say if it's 30 currency for the item, you know, hey, I spend 15k starchrom and I can get this 100%, or I may get lucky and get it earlier, is a lot nicer of a system, and it gives you a reality check of how quick something can be achieved. My friend wanted to go Frost Vortex, not a single RNG item for it yet.
