Deep in the jungle the boys hunt for the elusive Rainbow Bass in Episode 4 Nicaragua. They'll have to hack their way through thick jungle, be on the lookout for crocs, and dine on iguana, all in search of a hidden lagoon.

Awesome! I know this fish as the "Dovi" cichlid. Seen them in a fish tank.
Hahaha awsome video guys . Its a shame that this beautiful cichlid was miss labeled as a rainbow bass but still good to watch any silver or bright colored lure would have caught most of the fish in the video as they target small shiny bait fish . you think they hit flys hard you should see them hit a glass fish tank . Big boys bust fish tanks and kill anything in with them

Locals called them 'Guapote' when I was fishing for them in Nicaragua - it means 'good looking' - great fish

The "mud fish" in minute 7 is a small to mid size Guabina or Bigmouth sleeper (Gobiomorus dormitor)

thost "tiger bass" are jaguar cichlids. many people in the fish keeping hobby keep those fish. and those "rainbow bass" are dovii cichlids.
I think I have found my next calling.

Amazing tht they didn't knw tht this fish existed... it's a Dovii.. People inside the fish aquarium hobby (like my self) keep these Rainbow bass inside our homes... didn't knw tht they were not tht popular outside of the hobby... Rainbow Bass is just a name the locals gave them... they are called Dovii, a highly aggressive fish also lol kool ass video tho...

Hi Dean. We found bass in other areas for sure, but the main goal of this mission was to reach and fish a lagoon we knew had never been fished
