this reminds me of sittting in my dads living room watching this with him. we’d watch ancient aliens together and all types of shows. never knew how much i’d miss that simple time spent with him
kinda obvious, how do you people live life so asleep? you have one life, i never understood these comments. clearly, it won't last forever.
Cody and Dave were the best pairing, HANDS DOWN of all time
Dave was the most entertaining of all of them. They were the best duo though.
16:22 Cody "All that's missing is a couple of beers and I don't even drink..." 😂😂😂
😂😂 had to giggle at that myself..
Thanks this was fun . helped my Friday night lol. Guess I'm getting old! Loved it. Old memory.
Cody BEATING the HOOD one of the DUMBEST THINGS ever done.
Everything he does is ridiculous. How has he lived this long?
@@pleontks I don't know. But his tribe has the technology to make shirt sleeves but not pant legs. 🤔
Natives wore shoes!!! The ability to make shoes goes back at LEAST 12,000 years.
@@micahestep7679that is more of a hippy thing than a native one
@@Sam-vlog123-m4c Ok. Explain having shirt sleeves but no pant legs.
Imagine you run out of gas and come back to get your truck to find it torn apart lol
Cody mustve been high asf this episode
I don't think he was high enough
Think there was some behind the scene drama judging by how he acted this episode
Patience dave had to put up with cody was crazy lol cody really messing around
These 2 dudes are the best on Discovery 🤘🏽
Really? This is the first time I’ve seen this show but these dudes seem like clowns. The one dude doesn’t have any shoes. He is completely useless. The entire episode was pointless. Not one bit of useful information if I was in a survival situation with either of these two, the only help they would be would be providing me food after they pass.😂 this is literally the worst survival show ever
@projectpat2262 🤣😭
These 2 were the best.
@@googleuser-ytb I totally agree. Joe and Matt did a great job too.
There a fking JOKE this show ain't even real just watch survivor man
You have another definition of THE BEST😂😂😂
@@timfrank7461shut up man
They are absolutely the best when it comes to survival. To be able to take nothing and be able to survive on it ,2 THUMBS UP.
One question about these episodes. Instead of bird calls to find each other why not just yell hey dude where you at lol😅😅😅
If I could have given your comment more likes...... I would have done so.
Because hoots can be heard further and uses less energy than shouting words.
Hoots are more practical when it comes to range. Granted they weren't that far apart, but you gotta remember this show is educational, they are mostly simulating the scenarios to show what is the correct procedure.
bird calling burns less calories
Higher pitch sounds carry better and it takes much less energy to hoot as loud as you can than form words equally as loud.
Live in northern maine. Love how they make it way more dramatic than it is. We camp off old logging rds lol
i know what's wrong with it dont got no gas in it 😂😂
When I was 9, my family and my uncles family went down these roads for 20 miles with only enough food for 3 days. We camped for 2 weeks surviving on only what we caught or hunted. I guess today its called survival, but that's how my dad and uncle lived. Either way it was a pretty cool experience.
Yes! I miss this show. Thanks man.
I come with my gasoline ⛽️ and you two made a show of disassembling my truck.
I always felt Dave has to carry Cody most of the time. Cody might be able to survive in the desert but he looks lost everywhere else.
He put his partner at constant risk. That’s why the show ended was it not?
@@CSwivel From what I gather, they cut him because he exaggerated his military background. But who cares, Dave knows his survival stuff.
@@walden6272ik its kinda a shame that they booted Dave but I didn't realize how old this show is dave looks like he's gotten a lot older since these videos
You got that right !
@@CSwivelyea they fired him because he lied about his military record. Personally I don’t care, he was probably the best survivalist the show ever had, maybe besides Matt. He did a video explaining everything and you can find it on UA-cam. He knows his stuff and I think they made a big mistake letting him go.
Best place to catch dual survival on UA-cam!
The only channel i set NOTIFICATIONS FOR 😂
Bruh, you probably ready to survive in the wild🤣
People wont admit it but given a choice everybody would rather be lost with dave instead of cody 😂😂😂
False fake news keep telling yourself that. Quit lying and delete your comment and account .
runs out of gas: "Might as well disassemble the truck and make it into a campsite"
Well we don't have gas stations in middle of our woods bud😂
Hahaha 😆
Giving them just dog food is wild 💀
If we ever break down together.....you keep your dam hands off my truck😂
As someone who's lived in Maine all of my life, these guys were nowhere near the northern Maine woods of they are two miles from the coast. If you go to the Allagash up north that's some rough terrain for sure. These guys are not far away from civilization where they are.
As a maine man.. I absolutely agree..
But its fake.. And drama let em.have it..😅😅😅😅
They are teaching survival skills. It’s not a show about enjoying their torment in the wilderness.
Yup, they where just east of Cutler, ME on a private driveway.
lol all their farts 💨 this episode
These guys are the absolute best.
Talk about ironic. It just suggested this video to me and I leave in 6 hours to camp in the North Maine Woods. Let's hope I'm not in the news missing 😂
Are you alive?
How's the camping?
Did you make it back?
I love watching these guys
that old truck is a keeper.
Sure is! *taps roof* 6:10
We need new episode. I watch this show seven times
......with Cody and Dave starring ONLY .😁😁
So make it 8 times
Dave has a youtube channel he updates pretty regularly, both are still doing survival camps in both of their respective areas(Arizona and Ohio i believe)
@salehahmed2827
Dude, this show is long gone
No offense bc shows you probably didn't even hit puberty when this show was on originally with a comment like that but it's not your fault and great enthusiasm bc this show was great despite what happened down the line in the seasons that followed (just google it)
Need something better like an alone spinoff
Where my fellow Mainers at!?
ayuh!
I love Maine, we vacation there year after year. 😊
Right here bub!
Yessuh!
LL Beans in Freeport.
They should bring this two back to tv 😢
Also they were worried about rain. Simple if it rains sit in the freaking truck😅
Dave explains why
You'll be so cold within 30 mins Bud
They said 30 degree nights, that's not too cold to sit in a car
@@750zowouldn't be so bad in a newer car but this is a old bare bones steel body truck with no insulation and badly fitting doors and windows, you'd definitely freeze
@@750zo Old metal truck with no heating? Nah, metal gets really cold, they literally gave that reason in the video lol.
Did those rangers follow their map? 😂😂
I'd wait for days " Total the car " and right after rescue would show up with gas 😂
Love this part of maine I grew up in nothing eastern maine and them are the roads I grew up on
Not one of Cody’s best episodes lol.
is that new episode ?
@@rune7066 It was.. 15 years ago
He fell apart in like season 2
So true
Don't always agree with Dave in all situations across episodes, but Cody's overly strict "morals" and ideas that can be respected bc it's not my style, yet objectively could easily overall result in 💀 in real situations in longer term survival circumstances that definitely outnumber any instances that Dave has done
Cody thinks he knows everything when it comes to desert survival yes the guy knows it all but jungle forest and winter scenarios not so much.
I can appreciate Cody's methodical, slow down and smell the roses, type of mindset. What I don't understand is doing without when the resources are available and will, for a fact, help your rate of survival. Not many people do the whole barefoot survival BS like Cody so it's really more about proving he can instead of teaching the most efficient or common sense way to survive. Survival frames it like you couldn't make it in the wild indefinitely, you can and it's not that hard. It's way easier and better than contributing to some corporation that refuse to pay a living wage to employees for your entire life experience. I hope I live to see the time when people revert back to caring for the land like they used to instead of thinking this BS manifest destiny garbage.
Someone here in my small town in south dakota knows cody and says he dont truly live like this. And i have personally seen him with shoes and socks on
Wow a new episode ❤❤❤
Rád si pozriem vaše dokumenty. Táto dvojica sa mi páčila najviac. AJ si oddýcnem aj sa niečo naučím. Prajem Veľa úspecov a bolo by dobré sa dať zasa do kopy..
Some guys poor truck got turned into one of these episodes. 😂
Cody such a fool 🤣🤣🤣
thanks for another great video, blessings from over here in jamaica
I am a survivor!!!! I was married once
When i lived in Central Maine. I used to drive down old logging roads to go to work everyday. It didn't matter if it was raining or snowing. It was usually snowing. 😏
Live in Maine, in the katahdin area, so cool they did this in my stay State, way to go and put Maine on
Nice..well done guys.
They never cover taking a dump in a survival situation
When lost make sure you throw broken glass all over the ground so people can find you... whatttttt a hippy leaving trash and glass and burning tires is wild work..
As someone from arizona, we do not claim the hippy. He's definetly from california.
He's actually from Yavapai County, Arizona, not California. Just sayin'
this is like Home Alone in the woods
I want some of the stuff cody was smoking this episode lol
Take a truck door with you so if it gets too hot you can roll the window down
😂
He was the star of the show if it wasn’t his way, he threw a temperature
Can’t believe Dave hasn’t eaten Cody yet.
Northern Maine woods is nowhere near the coast, the coast has houses and cottages every square inch, now I know what happened to my hunting truck when I ran out of gas I came back and it was destroyed
I know your joking but seeing that old step side Ford torn apart made me cry 😢
You are mostly right. They found a back yard to film in a couple miles east of Cutler, ME, where the coast is rugged, and fewer homes on the coast line.
This is the dumbest one yet
This is the episode that I lost all respect for this show. I live in Maine. They repeatedly said norther, remote, Maine. News flash, there is no coast line in northern Maine. I did in fact find the private driveway with matching turrain, swamp, and culvert in what we call down eastern Maine. And it is only a couple miles out of the town of Cutler, Maine. An easy drive to and from. They where .36 miles from the paved road of Rt 191, and the driveway (remote deep woods wilderness road) was a total of 1.14 miles long. So basically, they set up filming in someone’s back yard.
My farther knew all those roads like they had road sighns we would drive for hours. That culvert looked familiar.
Those Kina's or sea urchins as Cody called them are disgusting expensive as at the supermarket but there is so so many in New Zealand.
My mum and sisters scoff them down and I try and yeah na ferk that😂 I'd rather eat anything else..
My truck 😲😲 ! , what have you done ? 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Cody at 3:33 “things out of gas”
My immediate thought: “it ain’t got no gas in it”
They could have walked out a quarter mile to route 191, or walked to the house .75 miles that they walked by at the coast, that they managed to leave out of the video.
This show rocks honestly
Add more new episode please.....!
Most of the time there ain't no GPS. It's perfect for those annoying bosses that won't leave you alone.😏👍
I have slept in Maine where in trees are blowing down all around and branches flying.
There was no other choice ..... @8:55
My only problem with the glass
Is that it looks kind of like ice, and I imagine it just looks like frost, especially in cold weather
Iove how they Just didn't make the camp on the road?
That's by far the easiest camp to make.. and will be seen much easier
Because in the event it rains they get washed out, the road would be the first thing that fills with water.
Those where great roads for Maine
Not Cody's best episode id say..
Well leaving the road would not be my choice but still can learn from their experience
Hey dude still doing the Arrow project? ❤love from Australia.Clay
I wonder what the owner of the truck is going to think when he shows back up with a can of gas?!
Probably a junker bought from a junkyard for $200 and throw in a battered dog food can and junk tools. Just for simulation.
A super nova could happen Dave and Cody would survive
@10:02 LOL !!
I was born in Maine Woods & you just may get yourself shot if you are heard doing exactly what these two goons are doing & in fact, that's no joke.
Ha Ha Ha !!
☮
My 2 favorite people ❤️
Chill
Theres no pressure on these guys because everything is pre planned. I wonder in a real situation how they would do
Go on and try it instead of sitting on the couch
I love dave and cody
Never watched this show in its prime, binging them now..... seems to me Dave ends up pulling the most work just because hes wearing shoes😂
26:41 you mean the log submerged is more traveled than the actual even grassed dry soil pretty much"bridge" less than a few feet to the left that has maybe inches of width of the stream to cross that's obviously narrower than the 1-2ft your trying? 😅🤣
What happens when someone rolls up on that truck a year later? Why wouldn't they put a date? Tuesday means squat out there on the logging roads.
Throw me in some place and watch me make it out bcaz of this duo😩😭
He’s really got the Army Vet picture on intro
David could do this show by himself and it would be way less annoying😅
In a survival situation somebody’s vehicle that broke down driving down a road would know what direction they came from and where they can find help. Just saying
Cody!!!’
They out here using Matt's truck? Lol it's funny it looks a lot like his
lesson for all kids if you find unlocked vehicle in middle of nowhere assume it belongs to noone and strip it for parts dont forget to rip apart anything your not gonna keep and litter it all over the landscape
my OCD says what was the expiration date on the dog food can
Nice chem trails sky there
#1 survival tip for driving into the unknown. Fill up on gas and take a spare gas tank. NOT, lets drive 100 miles down a dirt road with a quarter tank.
Why not just sleep in the truck bed?
I don’t like how he burned all that stuff for no reason
Pretty sure have seen Post 10 unclog where that truck was.
😂 was just thinking that. And since it wasn't clogged by the beavers, that tells me someone has been there and maybe even camped inside of there? Haha love Post10! Watched every single video on his channel
@@LexyThomas134 Well think this is prepost 10 he would have been pretty young when this was filmed.
@@kirkanos3968 haha true
thing is they never show us when the guys sleep
It's already been shown, why is it a premiere?
PREMIER On UA-cam 😂

Like you'd survive!😩
@@dr4g_sho7 What are you ranting about?
Clicks man. Literally the point on this, and many other, platform.
4:20 but… but why would you choose specifically to buy cat food or dog food if you’re homeless when an can of tuna or spam or like any canned human food is the same price? I mean absolutely if you’re desperate you’ll eat anything, but from a money perspective- I have a cat, I’m telling you for a fact canned cat food isn’t cheaper than a can of tuna fish, and canned dog food isn’t cheaper than chef boyardee. Sorry that just kind of bothered me, it’s perfectly edible if in a survival situation but it’s not like someone that’s eating that that’s having a hard financial time can’t pick something actually for humans, unless maybe the only store within 50 miles is a pet store
