the farming game genre is so saturated with bloatware is nice to see a different approach coming in! the ideas sounds really cool, we can only hope you stay in path for this one 🙏
Love this sounds fun and looking cool already. I know the black monolith is temporary but that would make for an intriguing npc. Also love mobius, ive got a couple of his art books. Looking forward to seeing where this goes!
Love how things are shaping up and the format of the devlog, the editing is on point. btw Techno Harvest sounds the most interesting out of the titles imo
This looks very cool, I am interested to see more! And you do devlogs pretty well, it is clear what you are explaining without being too technical which I find best. As well the lore seems interesting with how it connects with the gameplay so that it doesnt feel separate
Awesome video! Already this is a well made game. The game looks super awesome and I really like the idea of your game. I love the art style of your game as well and the 3D models looks super kool. Also mixing two game genre together is a huge achievement in itself and kudos for that. The story sounds very interesting. Just subbed to you. Looking forward to your next devlog. Keep it up! :)
Very cool idea!! Will it be also player combat? (Maybe as u explore the world, u encounter some bad creatures that can kill u, or they just attack the crops/farm animals , so u need to protect it in the night , and maybe some "dog robots" that they just give protection to the home). Keep it going , i would love to see the game progress and released one day!!
I do plan to have combat and various robots related to that. Will go over updates on those features and ideas for them in future videos and on my patreon
This is amazing, but i feel like decreasing the fog a bit would be better, at least for the nearby areas. In the latest update of godot they added spherical fog, you might wanna look into that
definitely will look into that haha. All of my attempts to decrease the fog closer to the player made a very clear line where the fog ended and I was spending way too much time on it so I moved on to other things. Will definitely return to the fog at some point
Combat isn't really implemented yet but you will certainly be able to take some robots with you to help with combat in various ways. I also neglected to point it out in the video but you can see when the robot attachment slots are visible that there are also inventory slots for each robot so they can just carry things for you too
Very cool ideas in this game! I like what you have so far. I am a composer, and it would be great to collaborate with you on this project. Let me know if you would be interested. I look forward to seeing more!

Manual tasks=😒 Robot automation= 😏 Logic cores=😳😌 Lore=🤯😭
It's so nice to see all the new fun projects made in Godot.

No Man's Farm! haha I think the monolith adds so much lore. Cool game!
This is fire and I fw the music in the beginning
Techno Harvest. Best name!
My god, this will become amazing! Keep going
Sounds like you have a very ambitious vision for your game. Good luck man!

It looks really promising, especially the lore and how it would be tied into the gameplay. Good luck!
You had me at the word "robot"
Looks promising, I love the Moebius style (am also making an indie game in UE using Moebius art as inspiration). Keep it up and best of luck 👍
I love the look of it, makes me feel to draw it

This game looks really nice wish i was able to make graphics like that
Thanks! I've just been watching tutorials and doing experiments for 8 years. Just keep doing it and always keep learning

The other civilization that may or may not exist sound a lot like the Morlocks from HG Wells' The Time Machine. Drawing inspiration from HG Wells?
One of the gifs I used in the video at that point was of the morlocks in the 1960 H.G. Wells Time Machine movie lol
Love the story! How many seasons will there be? It could inspire the lore
Thanks! And maybe, I would like to deviate from the normal 4 seasons but I haven't put too much thought yet into what that might look like
It almost reminds of Vesta from scavenger's reign
Missing the godot plushie, but it looks very cool!
A bit of animation blending on the character would be nice:)
Yeah, I wanted to implement that before the devlog but I set a deadline for myself and just didn't get to it in time.
This game looks too clean.
Is that a good thing?
@@adamsleepy_4115 Absolutely! haha
@@devzindie well then thanks! lol
Love it. I know its early but can i have a robot come with me? And help me battle or carry swag?
