Chevy broken bolts come out easy dodge and especially Ford's are a lot harder I work on plow trucks in Pa. Just weld a nut on broken bolt let cool 15 min. Remove might take 3 times but comes out faster than drilling only drill if flush or broken below hole. Doing this 4 40 years have fun
and what kind of drill bit did you use to drill through the hardened steel bolts I've tried all kinds to drill out my broken bolts on my 73 Ford Fe engine barely even scratches the steel
My bolt is in the frame and it’s for holding the fuel tank strap. It broke in such a way that it has a little dent in it that’s closer to the edge of the bolt so I need a longer drill bit because the tank is on one side and the big bar/rod that goes into the torque converter is on the other side and under it so I can’t fit my drill close to it.
I was drill and in one moment start leaking coolant fluid! I wash system with water and use blue glue for secure bolt. Day after put coolant and not leaking

If you would happen to drill to far can you fill the stud hole with jb weld then screw in stud to push the jb weld up 8nto stud hole
