I bought the same gun I absolutely love it and have the same exact problem there's a spacer in the magazine that is plastic and can be pulled out and if you use hollow points that have a polymer in the front kind of like a plastic filling that actually causes the malfunction and the bullet to tip down. We removed the spacer and all my magazines and it works flawlessly now
He was placing his support hand thumb on the slide during firing causing increased friction during the cycling. Jeremy may be correct in the lack of lube, but the thumb friction is a huge issue in regard to this failure set.
Looks like a great RANGE ONLY 1911, not a good option for carry. Expensive, hard to find holsters, size and not tested for reliable function. I will stick with a Glock or Sig!

Riding your support hand thumb hard against the slide won't help you out.
