It's a childhood favourite :) I'm an Indian but I have lived in Singapore since I was 5 years old. If only pandan leaves were sold everywhere in the world haha! It's easy and totally delicious.
My grandma is a nyonya descendant. She can cook anything about nyonya food and she is the grand chef in my family. i hope one day she will pass down all her secret recipe to me!
Bubur Cha~Cha / Bubur Cha~Cha >>> Always bring back Mothers' Cooking in our home kitchen! Can almost smell the hot Coconut Milk & Pandan Leaves already! Thank You So Much for the Efforts & for Sharing! Stay Safe & Stay Grateful! 🌷🌿🌍💖
I'm a New Yorker, I had that growing up in Malaysia. Always loved the Malaysian desserts and nonya food. I'll definitely try this recipe soon! Thank you.
I am never a big fan of bubur chacha but i guess as i grow older I miss what reminds me of home. Will make this asap! Thanks for the video, you're an eloquent speaker :)
Ah straight forward, easy to cook. Lucky for me the coloured tapioca dough is sold ready made in Singapore can cut down on preparation time. Already cooked 3 times n success, except a bit thick a bit too much coconut milk.
I made it today .. turns out awesome.. I've tried most of your recipes and my favourite is asam pedas ikan pari.. lots of love to you.. looking forward for more recipes from you.
this is a delicate recipe full of flavours that I have to go to the store for. I definitely want to try to cook this. thanks for presenting the recipe!

ty so much... I watched ur video twice B4 make those tapioca jelly n YES!!!! I successfully made them. I didn't use taro. I used 3 different colors of sweet potato (yellow, purple n orange). I used jack fruit instead of banana. Wa-la....my bo bo cha cha turned out damn good. i made it during my kindy children's day n the parents Njoy my bo bo cha. 2nd time I made it n shared with my friends. thank you so much for sharing this lovely video...

Hello. I would like to thank you for this lovely recipe. I made it yesterday and it turn out really good. I love the pandan smells spreading over the kitchen. It's very aromatic! My family enjoy eating it. My little brother says "Who made this delicious Bo bo Cha Cha"? I smiled. :) Thank you again. xoxo
I jst made this tastes so good. I made your onde2 as well.. but idk why i always have trouble with dough making.. my onde2 when seems abit cracking,..thn i added some water. but was struggling. pls keep making more Videos OK love them all !
I think it is similar to bubur mutiara cause of the coconut milk and sago. This has more flavour from different ingredients :D Taro is also known as yam or in malay, we call it Ubi Keladi.
I was curious about the sago and the tapioca flour, so I googled it and I found out that it's used to make bubble tea! That's really cool. How could flour turn into jelly??? #mindblown
Point taken. Thanks a lot for the comment. i use to do that in my earlier videos. Been slacking, hehe...will do soon and post it up on my website too :) Thank you so much for the support!!
Thanks for this recipe. This is my 5th time trying it and it is finally successful. For those having problem with the dough ,here is a tip.......... I mix 1/2 cup of boiling hot water to about 100g of tapioca flour and mix them up with a small spoon until it semi hot or warm and then I use my hands to mix them up. In this video, her hands were quite clean but trust me, mine was full of flour and when it became sticky (the dough), I put more flour on my hands so that the dough won't stick to it. You also need to boil the dough for at least 15-20 mins so that when you put it in the fridge, the dough won't be hard. ( What I meant is when this dessert is put in the fridge overnight, the dough will become hard unlike the soft texture they have when they were cook) I also like mine not too thick so I mix around 750-800ml water to 500g of coconut milk and I minus the banana and sago (too lazy to buy them) and it turned out great. Yummy...I am getting fatter too!!
Yay!! Try it out and tell me how it turned out. Thanks for the idea Jill. Will take it into the tab. Now we have videos every 2 weeks, have to be really hardworking to add preview :P But will surely keep in mind! Have a great week ahead!
moy great receipe you got there i bet it's delicious as it's look, can i make a request on how to make keropok lekor...can you imagine that extra fish on that keropok mix deep fried and dipped in thai chilli sauce it would be THE BOMB snack ever uurghh

Haha!! You may get dimples if you keep smiling. Maybe the sweetness from the dessert will help :P Yea, give it a try and I can't wait to know how it turns out!
Love the way you handle this dessert! It was tedious but you did great. I tried it right after watching this and it turned out awesome!!! I made the dough but didn't realise I made a hole at the bottom as well. So you can imagine how bloody my fingers were with red coloring. Hahaha..thanks again.
Great presentation for a great dish. Will give it a go!
