  • In this Small Town Ontario driving tour, we take a look at the 'Jewel of the Kawarthas', Fenelon Falls. The highlight of the town, north of Lindsay, is Lock 34 of the Trent Severn Waterway. To the west is Cameron Lake and to the east is Sturgeon Lake.
In the video, we first head north through town on Lindsay Street before turning around and returning for a loop around downtown and Water Street along the canal.
In between, there's a set of photos focused on the waterway and waterfalls.

This is my Grandmothers home town. Her father was the baker. Alfred Northey. My great uncle was the grocer, Lorne Northey. My Grandmother, Grace Northey, learned her nursing in Baltimore MD.

But, when there's a good wind blowing, it's the best place to watch frantic houseboat renters bounce their boats off walls, rocks and other vessels..
