- TC goes spring walleye fishing out of the bass boat on a gorgeous northern Ontario lake for native walleye. Filmed in May, Ben and Mitch get into some nice Walleye on the jigs, along with some underwater footage. Stay tuned for setups and rigs to help you catch some Ontario Walleye.
tcfishn lost a part of the crew on July 13th, Mitch's 2000 Ficht Ram 150hp outboard was lost in action. RIP

These two remind me of high school girls taking pictures of each other for Instagram.
the ONLY Technique ???? you didn't even talk about the "technique" :p
If you watched the vid it was pretty clear how we worked our baits :D
i watched the video... not once did you talk about "Technique" :P but it's ok.. as long as you were catching'em :D
Didnt say we did lol. Just a standard way of working a jig, you can see within the first couple minutes of the vid...
and you guys are taking to long to put them back in the water !!!!!
They all released perfectly well and will be caught in the future no doubt! :)
nice release footage!
I’ve had fish taco the recipe is soft taco shells an walleye and sometimes use gulp minnow juice as a condiment f🇨🇦🎣
You should try trolling with a worm harness or a go getter for walleye, those set ups are also deadly for grandad walleye
Ya they are great ways to catch bigguns we just aren't that into trolling 😅
@@TeamColdfront ya I feel you on that. I troll once in a while for them but I also use certain types of rapalas, and spoons for muskie n pike, different spinners for bass, but those things will bite anything
I want to thank you for releasing some of them back into the lake.
Nice fishing brother 👍❤️🤝🙏
So basically, I don’t have a boat since I’m just a teen but I’ve been trying a lot around here with no luck. The only place that I’ve been with semi luck (2lb bass) is around Merrickville...any tips for baits and colours/places to fish off the side from? Most of the water I fish is clear up to about a metre and a half, then it’s just black.
Are you able to DM us on insta @tcfishn? It will be easier to have a conversation there!
I’ve had fish tacos ,, the recipe is soft taco shells an walleye also use gulp minnow juice as your condiment.🇨🇦🎣
Are you just hopping the jig along the bottom, or dragging it? Great video.
Both, cheers brother
Great video
So quarter ounce moon head jig, smoke grub ? You guys casting and bouncing off the bottom or trolling ?
Casting
great video thanks
Good Job bro
hey guys, could you help understand about exact location where you launched the boat in there. Thx
GPS coordinates of every spot you caught a fish in would be nice too, thx in advance
Snap jigging only produce big fish... greatest feeling when the line pops out
Love seeing that line pop!
A jig an a minnow..
nice video from an enjoyable perspective but not really useful for teaching anything fishing related...
Anything you would like to know?
what technique you didn't say anything
Did I run into you up by Bobcaygeon this last weekend, when you were working on your trailer bunks?! Can't be that many sexy purple boats out there, can there?!
Most likely! Mitch put new carpet on his trailer bunks this past weekend!
It’s called ice fishing with friends and getting distracted by hot dogs, checking back on the rod 20 minutes later and catching something
Very entertaining vidio
Hey guys. Cool video. I'm heading up to northern Quebec for a week of walleye fishing. We are going the first week of Aug. Any suggestions on what lures or jigs?
Never been in Quebec but I'm sure the Walter's there like the same thing. I'd get yourself some VMC Neon Mooneye Jigs and pair that with a 3 or 4" plastic minnow bait such as a powerbait minnow or gulp minnow.
@@TeamColdfront I would definitely take Gulp over Powerbait. Fishing w a fellow UA-camr in Manitoba last fall and I caught 4 walleye for every one he caught. I was using Gulp, he was using powerbait. Powerbait is more durable but the soft biodegradable Gulps put out so much more scent!
Yup! The Gulp definitely disperses scent way quicker as it's a water based formula. All depends how much money you want to spend 😁
Still wanted to see that bass
Hey guys nice video, which lake where you guys on in Haliburton?
Absolutely love the boat
Thanks!
It’s winter, I need my fishing fix.
Should have ice near me in a week!
Where in Ontario do you fish? This summer I spent my time on Pie Island, Lake Superior. It’s a beautiful island with its own “Lake” in the middle of it known as Perch Lake.
We dabble a little bit everywhere from Great Lakes to Haliburton Highlands
Would have loved to see that big bass. Too bad they only like catching what they try for. What a shame. Fishing isnt a sport. Its a hobby. And a damn good one might I add
Perhaps out of season and he was releasing the way he should be.
the bass drum is ISH !!
Why'd yall have to tell them the secret
What is the name of the lake?
What happened to your the Ficht Ram 150?
Broke down :(
Got some good use out of it though!
what is the brand of 3" smoke grub?
Manns. But most natural looking minnow type plastic would most likely work. I think they discontinued what I was using
We watch to see what you fish with and technipue. I. At halfway point and seen nothing on lures or techniques.
Is that Bellwood lake
No, although we want to try it, but heard it's super busy all the time.
Nice job boys... from the walleye slayer capital of Ontario ... Detroit River
Thank god you actually call them walleye. No such thing as pickeral in Ontario
God ur dumb
fuck you nathan, there not chain pickerel... there walleye..
That's not 100% accurate. Although, uncommon it's not unheard of to catch chain pickerel in Ontario especially in commercial gill netting operations, particularly on the St Lawrence and in it's tributaries. Still though, most people don't realize that a pickrel is not a walleye.
Dumbass
go fuck yourself, Nathan!
Good video
Thank you!
