I met her at a YSA conference a few years ago. Her story is one I have never forgotten. I feel like it was the same year this video was made. She came to speak the same day the Norbys spoke, from the brussels bombing. That YSA conference was truly my favourite with her and the Norbys coming. When they spoke, I knew that the importance for me to be at the conference was to hear them. It wasn't for meeting friends but they still inspire me. I still remember Carol saying that her goal was to walk in high heel shoes! She only did it once but was glad she did.
