It's interesting how exposure to one thing leads to another. I was already a PMJ fan and that exposed me to Haley Rinehart (I don't watch reality TV, so did not know she was on one of those). Watching more videos of her with PMJ exposed me to Puddles Pity Party (duet on "Mad World'). Now I have two new singers to love.
Her voice is adorable the band is fantastic and the way it builds up with the piano is world class. Love your reaction.

Haley cast her spell on me again.. Awesome! Haley is by far the best out of all the ladies with PMJ. She has some solo stuff out too that is very good. If your looking for another country song try Hank Williams Jr "Country Boy Can Survive" will give you an insight on how folks that live here in the South in USA are. Especially "country folk". Can't tell you enough how much I enjoy this channel since I first discovered it recently. This cover by Hailey Reinhart is phenomenal as are all her covers for PMJ. I think I must be responsible for half of the views on the Creep cover alone. "All about the Bass" and "Oops I did it again" are also amazing. You are a joy to watch and listen to and I get a kick out of the times your husband joins you on camera. I'll keep watching as long as you keep posting.

Now you've done it. I am going to need a cold shower after Haley's performance. She just oozes sensuality in this song. She has one of the best jazz voices out there. She must have studied some of the classic jazz singers of the 1920s and 1930s. Some people have commented on this performance, complaining that she doesn't move around a lot in the song. She never was an artist to dance around the stage, but I understand that there was a reason for this: her dress. PMJ had arranged to borrow the dress from a museum in New Orleans and they, basically, had to pour her into the dress. She could not move really well in it and they were afraid to have her move very much to keep from damaging it. Bu she did look gorgeous in it.
She is one of the sexiest female singers as far as I am concerned. Her voice is smokey, sultry & sexy all at the same time. Think I need a cigarette right now. SO GOOD as always.
Haley is the sole reason why PMJ became a viral sensation and Scott Bradlee the creator of PMJ became a millionaire. Without Haley, it never would have happened
@@theblackdog2399 Robyn was killing it long before Haley was on the scene, and I remember many of her songs with Scott being huge.
You are the first reactor I have ever seen who had to do a double play on screen and I am in no way faulting you for it. Haley is one of the few that are worthy of the on screen double, enjoy on and off screen.🤙

Maps is my favorite song by them. I recently heard the Maroon 5 version, Didn't even recognize it until it was almost over. Her cover was 1000x better.

You mentioned people don't sing like this anymore. You may want to check out The Hot Sardines. They have live performances all over UA-cam (as well as videos) with an excellent female vocalist who plays the washboard. There's also a horn section and a tap dancer. And this is a great reaction to this version of Seven Nation Army.

Nice reaction! Haley is amazing, the hole package - the voice, the improvisations, the connection to the band (the musicians are fantastic), the looks... I love her voice but also her way of being “sexy” in a classy way - absolutely nothing vulgar about it just beautiful.
I love listening to reaction videos. I enjoy seeing people reacting to surprising songs and voices. Like Marcelito Pomoy singing the prayer,starting off in a female voice then male voice and back and forth. Eyes get big and months drop open. Or Morissette the first time someone hears her whistle tones or her range. Dimash freaks people out as well. Have a beautiful day and God bless you.

Had to come back and replay session...ok still good, I went out and found some Haley tracks and her song I don't know how to love you...uses a modern then a vintage type approach..you should check it out..it's so good
I can't imagine how Bradlee heard this song, and thought "New Orleans dirge". And using Haley's scatting to cover the guitar part at the end was equally inspired.

A significant part of Haley's gift, is that she has an inate ability to sort of meld into the song she's performing. I'm not sure if it's right to say she gives personality to her performance, because I've never done it. Performed onstage that is, so I'm just interpreting what I get from the performance, so I might be off base, again this is coming from a unschooled plain ol fan. She just sorts seems to assume the personality appropriate to the song she's singing. You'll see it, or I do, in every one of these. Especially, Oop's I did it again! A Brittney Spears cover that she just owns. She also, covers a kind of cult hit by Tove Lo, called Habits, again if you watch the original and I like the original as well, but Haley's rendition is, to me anyway, a lot more alive, or energetic maybe. Where the original, is darker & intentionally I'd say edgier? Anyway, sorry for the novel, I'd like to see your take on her cover of Black Hole Sun, by Soundgarden. Done in this format as a Jazz/Torch style lounge tune

Haley is always like 2 parts Elle king 1 part Betty boop 1 part Jessica rabbit when she does the PMJ stuff. It's so effected and technical to get that exact result. Her more contemporary stuff where she does not over the top the vintage still has that but it's way more subtle. All worth listening to.
