- One of the biggest challenge faced by every student pursing chartered accountancy course is how to manage CA and regular college at the same time.
Similar challenge was faced by me too while I was pursing my CA course. With the help of some strategies, I was able to manage regular college and CA coachings.
By way of this video, I will share my experience and learning of managing regular college along with CA course.
Its most important to stay focused and consistent.
Hope my learnings will help you make your own decisions. This was my journey, I strongly recommend that you make your own independent decisions as i stated in the video too.

I started my CA journey recently. I am pursuing bcom general from a regular College and at the same time resolved to do CA. I'm gonna be appearing in CA foundation exams probably in May 2022. I'm literally doubting myself at the moment. But after watching your video I got some courage and motivation to continue with what I want to accomplish. By the way your video was so helpful. As ugc has declared C.A. is equivalent to 2 PG degree. And As per ugc rules, two degree course cannot be persued either regular or correspondence mode or combination of both.
Then how can you say with C.A. b.com (regular) or b.com(correspondence) can be done.
According ugc rule, with C.A. B.com will not be valid because both are degree course.

Last year i came to this video at the starting of my ca foundation, and the next year magic begins..i feel so overwhelmed by getting same college as bhaiya now i m at hindu college and feel so connected with him

Now I am very skeptical about what to do for the next remaining year of my college. I am also looking for internships in diverse fields. I'm CS EXECUTIVE student and simultaneously I'm also a Bcom student... I was afraid before but I think that if we scheduled everything it would definitely become easy to manage

@@pxjaa my college timing is in morning from 7:00 to 11 ... So I woke up at 4:00 clock because I have to travel through local train which takes around 45-50 minutes . I reached at my home around 12:30 .. so I exclude 1-2 hr for myself and from 2:00 PM to 9:00pm i have sufficient time for my executive study..
Note: i do my college study during my lectures only..

Hello sir ! This video was really very helpful ! I got admission in bcom in gargi college. Its in south campus of DU. It took me literally months to realize that i wanted to pursue CA as my career. But now i have decided to give my 100% in this journey and i"ll give my foundation exam in may 2022 attempt. Now i am in dilemma what to do. Should i choose regular or correspondence? I asked one of my relative who is CA. She advised me to go for sol because regular college with inter coachings will become so hectic. But i really wanted to do regular college so as to improve my communication and other skills and to get DU exposure. I hope you understand my words and i would feel really helpful if you give me your suggestion.
Things are difficult that why they are worth doing.
If you want to do regular college, no matter what you can manage your coachings for CA inter too.
Gargi is a good college.
My opinion - Take one group at a time and fulfil your desire to pursue regular college

@@shubhamagarwal700 It depends on you, if you really wanna live your college life too then I don't think it's impossible , ha it's tough to manage both but determination is all that we need. Currently, I'm pursuing both I've passed my foundation , and taking online coaching for intermediate and also attending college 2 or 3 days a week. You can also just tranfer into Sol and focus totally upon CA. So it's just upon you.

I took offline classes because when i was preparing for CA, there were not much online classes.
In CA final i took online classes because of time constraint

Were you able to do your articleship in PWC?if you do not do articleship right after your inter because of college, do you lose your opportunity of internship in big 4 if you get good marks in inter?

Sir I'm in 5th semester, already cleared CA foundation and planned to crack CA inter each grp by MAY. Simultaneously my college is giving campus recruitment opportunities from BIG 4s and other fin firms. Should I take them and can it be considered CA article ship period or shld I wait and apply later from my end?
Just check when would be the joining date for which Big4 is recruiting. I guess it would be in near future. Hence, if your attempt is in may'22, i guess you would have to apply later. But do check when is the joining date. If its after may, then apply and do inform the HR that your attempt is in may'22
sir what to do if your college doesn't allow you to postpone the bcom exam just to attend CA exam?
I am studying in class 12th right now... Nd will clear my board exams in 2024... Suppose, i go with your idea and do my CA journey along with regular college... I WILL GIVE JUNE 2024 ATTEMPT- FOUNDATION.
IF I DO THREE YEARS UNDERGRADUATE COURSE(2024
-2027), since the first semester I'll be preparing for inter group 1 for 9 months (JUNE ATTEMPT,2025)... Then for group 2 in NOVEMBER, 2025... Or let it be June 2026... Still, I'll not be able to go for the articleship since my regular college isn't completed. What about the extra 1 year that will be almost wasted??

Sir, i just cleared my foundation secured 314 marks in june 24,i have dilemma of taking both or single group in inter, many people are suggested that taking single group has no value is that true?
Firstly thank you sir for sharing your experience.
I have a query and I hope it will be resolved by you.
Hansraj College has general electives related to accountancy whereas Hindu College has general electives related to Management...
Hansraj has batch size of 260...Hindu has batch size of 79..
Hansraj has more job profiles related to Audit And Finance....whereas Hindu has more profiles in Strategic Management and Consulting
As far as brand value is considered Hindu is slightly better than Hansraj (as per NIRF ranking)
Now I am in a dilemma to choose between the two.
Also I have confusion regarding CA and MBA...if I do CA alongside these colleges my grades might have a negative impact and i may not get a chance to sit for TIER 1 placements....moreover CA will take minimum 6 years from now... I studied for CA foundation for some days and found that Law subject was not my cup of tea... I may even get SRCC in the subsequent cutoff..my percentage in 97.5 EWS category...
From your experience what would be a better option MBA or CA?

Take some time and evaluate which course is better for you.

Job, startup or CA firm?
CA is one of the toughest courses in the country and demands a lot of commitment. If you are facing issues with law at foundation , then it would suggest discuss it with your parents before taking any call.
MBA from a top tier college is a really could career plan.

@@adityasingh4506 hey buddy! I did bcom honors in tax with CA and it's very much helpful as almost all the syllabus in bcom gets covered up by CA foundation and intermediate levels ...so i wud say u can go for it undoubtedly.

I have even heard my seniors saying that Mumbai University allows the students to do articleship with regular college such as NM as they usually follow the morning timetable for college, so there's no chance of clash of timings ....but that is not possible with DU due to the clash of timings ..

You will get SRCC.
You can improve English by reading newspaper or novels. If needed, take an English course also. It will help you greatly

Yes. Focus right now on CA foundation. Ask any college friend for notes afterwards. However, post your CA exam, Do ensure to maintain regular attendance in college
