    I love Patagonia. I've been wearing their stuff since I was a kid. I've always thought of them as kind of the preppy/outdoorsy brand. Their stuff is definitely very pricey, but I really don't mind paying a higher price for something that I know is excellent quality and is going to last me for years, especially when it's so difficult to find truly good quality these days. Plus, Patagonia's lifetime warranty also makes their higher prices totally worth it. I love knowing that if I ever have any problems with any of my products, Patagonia will either replace it or fix it at no extra cost to me. I just splurged and bought myself a new Patagonia raincoat. It was $150 and I've had my eye on it for months, so I finally pulled the trigger this weekend and ordered it. They were almost sold out of the color I wanted in my size, so I figured it's now or never!

      Yeah it is a great brand and I would 100% shop from them again. Absolutely love the items as they are warm and comfortable and that's all you really need!

    Awesome haul. I try to save a few bucks and check my local thrift shops. I've found quite a few Patagonia pieces with the tags still on for as cheap as 10 bucks

    I spent over $100 for a sweater my kid will probabably wear for a week. I spent another $150 on an infant sleeping bag she will only use for one trip. I figure that I can use them for future kids that we plan to have. They also maintain their value very well for resale once we are done having kids. I spent $300 on a canada goose for my newborn but they go over close to $200 used online. You end up getting high end clothing for the same price as low end amazon stuff once you sell it. Just look at merino wool. My IceBreaker base layer is about $400 and that is basically just long johns and a long sleeve undershirt. When it comes to items to keep you warm, these ultra expensive items are worth every penny. For the most part they last much longer as well and Ive been in a few situations where I would have froze to death without them.

      @@RosieAndre honestly, I’m surprised. The rain jacket arrived today and I got an M. I’m usually a XS in everything and thought I was being super generous by getting the M- but the M fits me perfectly??? Lol, thank goodness I did NOT get an XS in the jacket!

    • @RosieAndre

      Yes! So happy to hear that! Yeah the sizing is a little bit small in my opinion and its so hard to judge without buying in store and trying them on! But I'm happy the size you got fits you correctly. I can be anywhere from a S to a L so I'm glad I went oversized too!

    Great video, thank you. I really just wanted to take a look at the Better Sweater, as I've just bought my first one in a purple / lilac colour on Vinted and am excited / nervous about the sizing! If it fits around the torso, I can always get the sleeves taken up!
    Hummed and hawed over buying one, but it's coming up to winter and I hope it'll be an investment piece that will last for years. I'll want to layer it over long-sleeves, so hopefully the XS won't be too snug-fitting.
    That colour and size look lovely on you, and I know what you mean about "adulty" fleeces! I used to go to the Lakes quite a lot on holiday when I was a kid, and felt like I was always dressed in bright, garish, girly colours of multiple layered outerwear.

      Oh I’m glad this video was useful! I love this colour but haven’t seen it on their website since (although I haven’t checked recently!) good work finding one on Vinted! That’s great! Hopefully it fits perfectly and you love it for years to come. I have already worn mine to death and it’s still in great condition! I love it and would consider getting a 2nd! ❤️

      @@RosieAndre thank you. Yes, they don't have that colour on the website anymore - I looked yesterday while I was reading the reviews before I decided to go for the one on Vinted. Asked the seller for the measurements, and when I measured on myself, I had three layers including a cashmere jumper on, so hopefully it'll be fine! I'm literally the coldest person ever. 😂

    I think the whole point of a wool sweater is that you wear something underneath.

    • @RosieAndre
      @RosieAndre  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah but I don’t always want to wear a long sleeve top under a jumper.. so wearing a T-shirt or tank top, I want to be able to wear a wool jumper without wanting to rip my arms off 🤣 I’ve tried some in the past and as soon as I put them on, I have to take it off again, sometimes even with a long sleeve top on underneath. But this one is super comfy & cosy!

    • @RosieAndre

      It is super expensive.. but it’s an American company, not from Argentina. And it’s meant to be super ethical and sustainable so therefor better than cheaper fast fashion brands. I wanted to invest in some pieces that would stand the test of time and not rip or wear really quickly. And honestly, they have been worth the money to me! I love my items and would get more because they are so nice!
