Amazing video! Great explanations. I have the 2 banger bag it works perfect in my vehicle as a shtf or active shooter scenario bag I’m able to hold 4 556 mags, 1 9mm double stack mag , a tourniquet , and cuffs with some room to spare. This is the first video I’ve found that explains this bag well!
Nice review! - I'm picking up the 2 Banger to set up as a nightstand bag I can grab out of the safe each night before I go to bed. I'll use it as a bump in the night bag to carry a pistol, mags, medical, flashlight, etc. That way if there is a knock on the door at 2 am etc., I can answer the door in boxers/sweats and be armed without being completely overt in case it is simply a neighbor asking for help or (as has happened before...) a police officer letting me know my garage door is wide open. Another good quality of a setup like this is being able to keep my pistol out of the reach of my kiddos when the pistol is out of the safe, as well as how simple it is to stow everything in my safe in the morning when I get ready and put on my carry or duty weapon. I like the 2 banger. It’s a more refined version of a bag I’ve been running for a few years. I like the AR in the back, where ass my mags are in the front... which makes mine flop a bit.
Have you looked at the All Missions Rig? Seems like it would be more secure and you can still adjust height with the Laser Cut Molle Gear Set. Lots of Gear Set options for that matter. Would love to see a review of that if you haven't already done so comparing this setup vs the All Missions Rig harness underneath.
Concept is cool. I’m just not sure how practical it will be. In someways I see it getting in the way or slowing me down in a gun fight. Active shooter situations are quick, and you don’t have an army attacking you, so don’t see the need to have all that, I’d rather be mobile and quick to either engage the threat or to get away. Also, I think the design of the bag does not aid well in getting ammo quickly. I also don’t see me using this in conjugation with a rifle. Again, if I’m going to be in a fight I want quicker access to mags. I think this bag is trying to do what a backpack does. Sorry for the rambling. Those are just my initial thoughts.

late reply but for those wondering. it wont work...at least with the official identical main strap that comes with it. i took the strap from my 4-banger and added it to my 2 banger. it'll end up pinching/choking you out. you would have to do some sewing to come up with an x or h harness type system similar to chest rigs.
Loving these new bags from 5.11. Terrific reviews all day from you as well. I have a bit of a unique situation and need some advice on which bag to carry. I've been a paraplegic pretty much all of my life and allot of holster carry systems just don't cut it for me. Sitting and drawing can be very awkward as you well know. So I need a pack. Something small to carry everyday things , but I also want to conceal a larger firearm , MAINLY because I have no way of running from the fight and have to stick it out. I don't wanna have to stick it out with a .380 pocket gun! I have an FN 509 and a Sig 2022 as my options. Would a 2 banger fit my purpose? I'm planning on carrying a couple 24 rounders for the FN as well. Any tips are greatly appreciated my friend.
Its a gear set with a shoulder strap....and no option to be a gear set. I could rig it probably, but out of the box feel like 5.11 missed an opportunity not offering a proprietary harness but a sling instead.
nice review. however, share the upgraded stats of that distressed pallet that seems to be viable as cover i could use some bullet proof pallets to shield my home and place as cover for extraction ;).

Guys in Benghazi had bags like these that they loaded up with all the extras they could carry when the temporary embassy was getting blasted, just a good option for a grab and go bag, easier accessibility compared to assault packs.
Useless. Look how difficult it is to draw a magazine and that’s in a video made to “sell”you these bags this is the best footage they could edit into this video and it was still difficult. The 5.11 bail out bag makes a lot more sense.

I have the 2 banger and it's set up for my bump in the night bag. Extra mag, pistol, extra light and some other stuff. These are pretty good.

Run rifle mags with bullets facing the rear it may make your reloads easier.

Been using 2 banger bag for 2 years, it's still looks in the good shape ,but by the time, the color was faded a little bit.

It could handle cz Shadow 2 but with slow pull out of the bag (snug fit) for G19 size gun is perfect.
