Hey Dillby, great video. Quick question. How important is it to match the BPM of the vocal to the track, if it's just being played in the break (as above?)
I would say it's very important. There are things happening in the break so there is still rhythm and tempo so the vocal will probably sound out of time. But at the end of the day, if it sounds good, then cool.
Hey bro love what you did here and in your other vids. Just a question about your drum rack settings. When you have your single hits how did you get those macros that you currently have set? Did you grab those from a bit and then just replace sounds or did you create those specific macros for drums racks yourself?

I have simpler set like that, inside the rack with macro controls. Whenever I load a new midi channel this device is automatically loaded.

When you process the Kick with the bass together what effects/plugins do you use on the buss? saturation and compression?
I use a tape machine emulation, so it's like some very mild compression and saturation
