Love the videos bro, can you show what’s going on with the reverbs and what the Lfo tool is doing? Your tracks always have a nice space and warmth behind the drums I’m missing
Hey man, I have a few that I generally re-use in most of my tracks. Ones that I have found from packs or sampled over the years. Once I have one that works, I generally stick with it for a while. I have a video on the channel about how to sample kicks, which is something I do quite a bit if I'm working on a different style track.
Definitions of music are extremely subjective. When selecting the terms to use in the title, I try to figure out what is going to communicate the contents of the video to broadest group of people. Most of my audience seem to feel that the title describes the content pretty well, so I'm satisfied. Hope you find something more in line with what you're searching for buddy.
He said in the video it was his interpretation of it and as he rightly said in the comment the definition of types of music are very subjective. I personally think hes done a great job and it represents the techniques, overall sound, etc of the modern minimal quite well. If your definition of minimal is for example what they called minimal 10 years ago of course its quite different... same with deep house, etc - easy to go down a rabbit hole when it comes to definition of genres and sub-genres
THIS TRACK WILL BE RELEASE ON FRIDAY: www.beatport.com/release/connect-the-dots/3701493
those chord stabs are pure fire!
Thanks bro!
I'd love a more follow-along / from scratch tutorial. Understanding your rationale for adding different sounds over other sounds is really valuable
I will be creating some start to finish courses later in the year ;)
Just drop loops xD
@@dilbydjhi there, did these STF videos ever happen, or do you have courses online I can purchase?
