I personally like the over. The vocals fit with the style of emo/post hardcore that miw used to be if you've ever heard their demo. Pretty good cover

I love this cover , I can't explain how awesome it sounds to me , it's not perfect , the vocals are different but that's exactly what I like about it , it's basically perfectly imperfect

hearing them sing this, even though it's SO old, literally made me cry. i love them os much.
Considering how gothic and scenish MIW is, and ironically me, and im sure many more, do wear makeup and dark clothes with that style everyone knows, and I know when i started my style i was so afraid of what people thought and i feel like this song is a perfect example, and thats why I love hearing MIW Sing it, because i feel like it has some real life meaning to them too.
I really don't think they consider any part of their style to be 'scenish'

Well in a way, back in the whorror and early albums they look really scene, tight clothes and what not, although yeah, currently Chris is very gothic as opposed to scene, He takes after MM's style pretty well, I dig it :)

My band played with MIW live, so naturally we got to watch them after we played...it was only a few months ago too...and they....fucking...rocked...my face...I was completely surprised, because I went in there not really knowing what they would sound like or what their stage show would be. Freaking...amazing...show.

I, personally, am I fan of both MIW and SWS, and both covers are so different that you can't really compare them. I'm not saying you have to like both bands, but both covers have their shine so you should just respect that.

MIW is my favorite band but I believe that some songs just aren't made for some bands. Like, I wouldn't want to hear SWS cover Reincarnate or MIW play if you can't hang. Chris has an amazing voice but it's just not made for some songs.
I, personally, love this cover, because it is packed with such raw emotion, the vocals are raw and scratchy and I think it suits perfectly with the song.
If you heard the original by The Goo Goo Dolls then you would understand that this isn't the way it should sound.

Everyone, give Motionless In White a break. :/ They were just starting out and doing covers, they didn't probably have the equipment they are able to access now. So don't except CD material kinda stuff when it's these circumstances. And plus, besides a few sections where the vocals were iffy and such, I thought this was good.

@ldblumhorst This was recorded a really long time ago so the sound quality is crappy and the singer is pitchy, but thats expected for any new young band. All they're new stuff sounds awesome because it is all professionally recorded and matches their talent live.

@22jermz It was from when they were younger and it was recorded a long time ago when they were a newer band. So its gonna sound crappy all new bands are like that at first.
This was also before they had a label or an editing material, not to mention Chris was really young when they recorded this. Their knew stuff is way better, though.

Okay so the vocals are a little rough. But they did this like what, four, five years ago? They didn't have the best quality stuff back then. Plus, Chris wasn't as experienced vocally as he is now. Today his voice is literally sex. This cover is raw and emotional, and I love it. And miw. :)

Saw them at Soundwave in February. Chris is a god, hands down. Looks far better without the zombie Manson get up though.

Aaron Hernandez This was at the time (I think anyways) that they put out their *first* demo. They just started as a band. Besides, it's a not the same genre as the original, so it's not supposed to be exactly like the origin song. And the point that it's a cover of it makes it even more understandable, considering that no cover is exactly like the original. Quit whining and bitching about it, please.
