I love how everyone bashes this cover because of Chris's vocals. Yeah, his vocals were raw, they were still very young when they recorded this, but you know what considering the lyrics and message of the song I think the raw vocals only adds to it. I think that's part of what makes it so great.

Freaking...amazing...show.
imo this is MiW at their best, this self titled, the whorror and when love met destruction is when they actually had emotion. It was flawed and sometimes ugly but it was real and raw unlike their overproduced super tight and clean generic modern sound.

@ldblumhorst This was recorded a really long time ago so the sound quality is crappy and the singer is pitchy, but thats expected for any new young band. All they're new stuff sounds awesome because it is all professionally recorded and matches their talent live.
Everyone, give Motionless In White a break. :/ They were just starting out and doing covers, they didn't probably have the equipment they are able to access now. So don't except CD material kinda stuff when it's these circumstances. And plus, besides a few sections where the vocals were iffy and such, I thought this was good.

It's completely in shambles and that's why I love it. It sounds like such an emotional mess and that's what makes it feel so perfect to me.
Even though the vocals aren't the best quality, I still live the raw emotion that this cover delivers.
I personally like the over. The vocals fit with the style of emo/post hardcore that miw used to be if you've ever heard their demo. Pretty good cover

they probably recorded this in their basement or something. Sleeping with sirens recorded their version in a nice studio somewhere. Hard to compare.
