To anyone wondering, no its not the version from The Whorror. This is the re-recorded version that was intended for When Love Met Destruction when it was still planned as a full album. When they decided to release WLMD as an EP, this and some other songs didnt make the cut, but all can still be found online. Another example is "Bananamontana", an earlier version of "City Lights" originally meant for the WLMD album.
You've got it backwards man.. this is the original version from the Whorror and they re-recorded and cut some parts of this song for When Love Met Destruction...
I feel like crying now for some reason. It's just, his voice when he sings "Dancing dirty needles, broke the tip off in her skin. the promises of false hopes are injected in her veins" is so beautiful. And the piano playing at the end
Their old EPs I think touch more on the emotional side and their new album creatures seems to relate them selves to fictional characters in movies they like. love them either way though.
The angst and passion of the music was unmatched. The style also takes you straight back to that era of music. It's nostalgic but it's also raw and pure unlike a lot of their newer stuff that feels very inauthentic and over-produced.
damn time does sure fly i was 14 years old back in 2016 and whenever i would go to school, i would always be having this playing! i surely do miss those days. and now im 20 years and im just suffering! life has become melancholic to me but i will try my best to find a way out of this misery that im living. i missed those days when i was an emo kid, like legit listening to this would make someone instantly nostalgic. i really do miss my friends whom i used to chat with online, i miss everything it really does hurt thinking about it. im currently sitting here in pain and the reason why im in pain is because i just dont feel the same way that used to be, now im stuck here as a college student and my life is just filled with pure melancholy and absolute sorrow. it is really frustrating and im writing a very long comment just to get it off my chest. anyways i wont give up no matter happens to me until the day comes where i would smile just like how i used to! :)
Bruh I was 14 in 2009 listening to this banger at my buddy's house on his PS3 before Creatures came out. 😂 I'm almost 30 now and these are still bangers that are always playing. Things get better. Your 20's are your hardest because you're not a teenager with no responsibilities and you're not an adult with good money, a house, family, etc. 20's is for building your life up man. Just do what you can to get by, take advantage of every good opportunity when you can and do your best to avoid making mistakes and hurting people. I'm at the end of my first marriage right now, I believe - we were together since we were 15 or so. People change, life happens, good and the bad. Just have to cling to what you can to keep going and enjoying life. My son is my enjoyment now.
@MaybeMental this is not screamo god damn. It has nothing to do with this kind of music. This is just a metalcore emotional song. An amazing song. If you want to realy listen to screamo(noisecore) listen to saetia, or pg.99.
@DannixChaos I asked Chris personally. And he denied that was the case. I'm friends with Balz, Chris, Angelo, and Ryan. I became a fan in '07, and we've been friends since. It sucks now that they're a lot more popular. They don't have as much time. We hang out when we can, mostly when they come by Indiana. This past December Allie (their merch girl), Chris, a couple of friends, and I all went to IHOP... on Chris' suggestion. XD Anyway, I've had plenty of talks with Chris about his lyrics.
@bboybeastie oh and also, the song When Love Met Destruction is actually an early version of Creatures and Puppets. They used the guitar riffs in the song and put them in Puppets. Then took the lyrics to the chorus and added them to the Creatures chorus. Hope I have given you some valuable info :)
@bboybeastie No This is from the album version of When Love Met Destruction. It was released as a full length. But then MIW dropped Masquerade label and then signed to Tragic Hero to release the EP version which was reduced to 6 songs, excluding When Love Met Destruction (song) She Never Made it to the Emergency Room, and this. Destroy Everything was changed to Destroying Everything. We Only Come out at Night and Bananamontana (demo version of City Lights) were released on Creatures instead. ;)
I have also talked to chris about this and all of what you said is true Except i believe the song scissorhands was written about the movie Edward Scissorhands as it completely tells the story perfectly
theres a website called onlinevideoconverter, when you get there select the mp3 button and it will ask for a link, copy the link from youtube and it downloads the mp3 from the video, thats how i got a lot of MIW's old songs i cant find
@MrDonutboy33 He isn't pretending to be edward scissorhands. Did you ever stop and think maybe he likes that movie a lot. Just like their song about The Lost Boys.
This song rocks my socks! It's the very first MIW song I ever heard... I was sad to see it didn't make the cut on Creatures. :( And I talked to Chris about it Aug 1st, and it isn't about a dead ex. :/ He just likes to write songs about this kind of thing. Have you ever heard Black on The Whorror? Well, by your logic, Chris was a policeman investigating a murder, or on Creatures in Scissorhands, Chris was a man with scissors for hands... Please know what the fuck you're talking about.
there are 6 songs THE WHORROR INTRO JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT SHE NEVER MADE IT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM WE PUT THE FUN IN FUNERAL APOCOLIPS SCHIZOPHRENICANNIBALISTICSEXFEST. COM
Chris sounds as if he's in so much pain when singing 'roses are red, violets are blue' its so beautiful.

Aran C you right
I just think this song is beautiful. The lyrics, the guitars and just the fact that Motionless in White made it.
The pic of Chris with the pink hair! I'm in love...
I feel like crying now for some reason. It's just, his voice when he sings "Dancing dirty needles, broke the tip off in her skin. the promises of false hopes are injected in her veins" is so beautiful. And the piano playing at the end
Found this when I was 15 and in a bad place. 9 years later, needed it again. Glad you kept these videos up
Their old EPs I think touch more on the emotional side and their new album creatures seems to relate them selves to fictional characters in movies they like. love them either way though.
Old Motionless In White Forever
Roses are red, violets are blue, the petals fall like tears.
I miss this era of motionless
The angst and passion of the music was unmatched. The style also takes you straight back to that era of music. It's nostalgic but it's also raw and pure unlike a lot of their newer stuff that feels very inauthentic and over-produced.
I cry harder when I listen to the part "Roses are red, violets are blue. These petals fall like tears."
whoa this is MIW....sounds good i didnt know they wrote songs this earlier on
this song has been on repeat for 5 times now, i love it :D
i love this version way more than the other one
this song is so old, but i love it ;-;
In a interview with chris he said his old band use to cover blink 182 I think thts why some of there old things have kind of a pop punk fill to it
Same goes for Escape the Fate.
damn time does sure fly i was 14 years old back in 2016 and whenever i would go to school, i would always be having this playing! i surely do miss those days. and now im 20 years and im just suffering!

Blood fills her dark heart
wow, i havent been able to find old pics of them, they look so young, and chris's voice is still amazing.
THEIR BEST SONG EVER PERIOD
I personally love this version more than the second :3
The ending....such beautiful lyrics...
thankks, i new chris and angelo of course, and then i wasn't sure about the last two, but then i remembered frank.
This isn't a style. This is what bands like this sounded like when they were starting...just raw music, hardly any effects or editing if any.
@MaybeMental this is not screamo god damn. It has nothing to do with this kind of music. This is just a metalcore emotional song. An amazing song. If you want to realy listen to screamo(noisecore) listen to saetia, or pg.99.
I miss my little ang with his cute little voice
Best than the version of "When Love Meet Destruction"
I love this song in all versions
I'm from 2017 this is better than their new songs i just love this soooo much
I don‘t respect your opinion but i know what you mean
That's because early stuff has raw energy to it that simply cannot replicated.
Demo version of Apocolips
The other two versions are the When Love Met Destruction and The Whorror versions
Yeah that's Chris! The one with the blonde is Angelo and the guy at the end is Frank xD They were so young, it's adorable.
@DannixChaos I asked Chris personally. And he denied that was the case. I'm friends with Balz, Chris, Angelo, and Ryan. I became a fan in '07, and we've been friends since.
