To anyone wondering, no its not the version from The Whorror. This is the re-recorded version that was intended for When Love Met Destruction when it was still planned as a full album. When they decided to release WLMD as an EP, this and some other songs didnt make the cut, but all can still be found online. Another example is "Bananamontana", an earlier version of "City Lights" originally meant for the WLMD album.
You've got it backwards man.. this is the original version from the Whorror and they re-recorded and cut some parts of this song for When Love Met Destruction...

I just think this song is beautiful. The lyrics, the guitars and just the fact that Motionless in White made it.
Their old EPs I think touch more on the emotional side and their new album creatures seems to relate them selves to fictional characters in movies they like. love them either way though.

I miss this era of motionless
The angst and passion of the music was unmatched. The style also takes you straight back to that era of music. It's nostalgic but it's also raw and pure unlike a lot of their newer stuff that feels very inauthentic and over-produced.

This isn't a style. This is what bands like this sounded like when they were starting...just raw music, hardly any effects or editing if any.

@DannixChaos I asked Chris personally. And he denied that was the case. I'm friends with Balz, Chris, Angelo, and Ryan. I became a fan in '07, and we've been friends since. It sucks now that they're a lot more popular. They don't have as much time. We hang out when we can, mostly when they come by Indiana. This past December Allie (their merch girl), Chris, a couple of friends, and I all went to IHOP... on Chris' suggestion. XD Anyway, I've had plenty of talks with Chris about his lyrics.
@bboybeastie oh and also, the song When Love Met Destruction is actually an early version of Creatures and Puppets. They used the guitar riffs in the song and put them in Puppets. Then took the lyrics to the chorus and added them to the Creatures chorus. Hope I have given you some valuable info :)

@bboybeastie No This is from the album version of When Love Met Destruction. It was released as a full length. But then MIW dropped Masquerade label and then signed to Tragic Hero to release the EP version which was reduced to 6 songs, excluding When Love Met Destruction (song) She Never Made it to the Emergency Room, and this. Destroy Everything was changed to Destroying Everything. We Only Come out at Night and Bananamontana (demo version of City Lights) were released on Creatures instead. ;)

im currently sitting here in pain and the reason why im in pain is because i just dont feel the same way that used to be, now im stuck here as a college student and my life is just filled with pure melancholy and absolute sorrow.

I'm almost 30 now and these are still bangers that are always playing. Things get better. Your 20's are your hardest because you're not a teenager with no responsibilities and you're not an adult with good money, a house, family, etc. 20's is for building your life up man. Just do what you can to get by, take advantage of every good opportunity when you can and do your best to avoid making mistakes and hurting people.
I'm at the end of my first marriage right now, I believe - we were together since we were 15 or so. People change, life happens, good and the bad. Just have to cling to what you can to keep going and enjoying life. My son is my enjoyment now.
